Does Trisha die at the end of 'The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon'?
First off, I wondered the same thing myself, and upon doing a search, I discovered your question. I think that Stephen King left this open for the reader to decide. He wrote that while she was in the hospital after being saved, she "floated away into sleep."
From a literal standpoint, Trisha could have fallen into an exhausted sleep, and awoken some time later.
Figuratively, it can be taken that she passed on in her sleep as a result of all the physical and mental stress that she endured while lost, not to mention a serious case of pneumonia.
Personally, I like to think that she did not die, and that she recovered her health, and her family resumed life. However, the reader can take it as they wish. To find the real answer, one would probably have to ask Mr. King himself!... but even he may not have decided for sure.
This was a great book (a thrift store find), and I was hooked on it all day long today until I finally finished it.
Good question,

What would be three reasons boy racers should be banned?
They shouldn't be.
An answer to the boy racer problem is to provide them with a safe and organized venue to do what they are doing dangerously on the streets at present. Why take away a sport/hobbie that some people could do well at? Instead of taking the negative side and banning boy racers, turn it around and provide a safe place where they can drive.
A quote from Travis B:
I am a boy racer and I have been going to the drags in Auckland for nearly 5 years and I have seen plenty of crashe
s. What pisses me off is that when you go to the drags your there at your own risk and when the odd person gets hit
, tuff. I have nearly been hit a few times and I am sure many others have had the same experience but I still go.
Give us something to do with some risk, leave us alone, its just gonna make us go more and more underground and
that's when things will get worse.
They shouldn't be.

Who played It in the movie Stephen King's It?
The clown calls himself Pennywise, or sometimes Robert Gray, but the force (not really a monster, just an ancient, evil energy) behind Pennywise, and all the other manifestations it takes, has no name. 'It' has existed far longer than words or names have, and can only be called "It". It isn't a person, or a thing, or a creature, or a demon. It is just IT.
The title makes more sense in that light.
