Yes many people have but it is very individual and there is no rule for how long to take suboxone. it depends on your situation. I was on it for about two years until I got my personal life back in order after destroying it from severe heroin use of ten years. You should not quit if things are totally crazy in your life. You should be in a very stable environment and should have very stable and in good standing in your personal relationships. And when you quit you should do it very very gradually. It is not routinely screened for. Most drug test are called 5-panel drug test and they test for the 5 most common drugs. I would be suprised if wherever you are being employed ask for a different test. I wouldn't fret. Besides most people taking suboxone have it legally and are using it to get OFF narcotics.

You will want to wait a good 8 hrs. Dilaudid has a higher binding affinity than do most other opiates, and if enough is taken then you can essentially "override" the suboxone. Think of them as magnets; dilaudis's magnetic charge is almost as strong as Bupe's,mso if you multiply that charge by 3 or 4 times, you will likely be able to override the Bupe!

the Naloxone part of the Suboxone preparation effectively blocks any other opiates from binding to the opioid receptors since it has a higher affinity. If you're taking Heroin on top of it, it's not going to affect you until the Naloxone wears off but you are still taking it into your system. So, yes, it would show up on a drug screening.

It's not very easy to answer because it depends on the dose of each drug and how far apart they were taken, among other things, but it can last longer than 24 hours.

Mixing these two drugs is VERY dangerous and you should contact a doctor immediately if you have done so.

I assume you mean in order to indicate that you HAVE been using Vicodin?

If so, then no it wouldn't work. They don't test for the drug iteslf, they test for the metabolites that your body turns the drug into as it processes it. So if you put the original in the sample, even if its tested positive in the initial urinalysis, they would know somethings up because there would be no metabolites when they GC/MS'd it for comfirmation.

Just take even one half of a Vicodin, like a good 8 hours before the test. It is dectable after 2 hours of injestion, and doesn't become undetectable until 36-48hrs. So you're right in the window. If you have a test the next day, just pop one ore a half right before you go to bed.

Yes, but only if a specific drug test which looks for Suboxone is used. I see a suboxone doctor every two months and they always check two separate tests. One to make sure I'm using the Suboxone, and another to check forillicit drugs (which I am forbid to use). Only your suboxone doctor will test for Suboxone to be sure you are using it and not "selling" it. Suboxone is extremely expensive and many people have been known to sell the subs to get cash for their illegal drug of choice. These people normally only use Suboxone as a "back up" to be sure they do not suffer from the withdraw symptoms when they run out of their drug of choice. Sad but true.

You should wait until you are experiencing full withdrawals. I would recommend waiting at least 36 hours and 48 hours if you can stand it. If you wait 48 hours you will definitely not get sick but I it is risky before that.

Depending upon your neurochemistry and how long you've taken the drug, anywhere from 24 hours to wear off enough to "feel" other opioids and up to three days to have it completely gone from your receptors.

probably two weeks... after an injury i was forced to stop taking my 8mg subutex once a day, and five to six days later i was able to really feel the opiates again. though i must say everyone person is different, and depending on your bodies metabolism it can vary.

Very very gradually, tapper off over the coarse of about 3months or so and that way you can't feel it as bad. As your doctor to prescribe you the 1mg or 2mg tablets, that way you can regulate how much you are taking better than just the regular 8mg ones. Because benzodiazepines are not opiates. They are...benzodiazepines. Suboxone only blocks the effects of opiate drugs. Although, you should be careful taking benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax) with Suboxone. As they are both depressants, taking too much of them together could cause an overdose.

Actually, you can even take opiates while you are on Suboxone. You won't be able to get high on them, but they will still work as painkillers (although you might have to double your dosage of the painkiller). A couple of years ago I had a root canal and they gave me Vicodin for it, but I had to take double doses of the Vicodin, and cut my Suboxone dose in half, in order to get enough relief from the pain.

For me it did, i remember taking 4mg of Suboxone at around 9 or 10 at night and was nodding off until i finally fell asleep at 7am. Depends on how tired you are though if you're about ready to pass out and take it then you'll fall right asleep.

it depends on what you're getting high on. there is a suboxone web page that has recommended lengths of time to wait for different opiates. i believe the doctor generally has you wait 24 hours after your last dose of herion or oxycodone or 48 hrs from your last dose of methadone or time release Oxycontin. i however have started suboxone after 8-10 hrs of my last dose of 160 mgs of oxycodone. this worked for me, but i don't recommend it as it can really make you sick. good luck.

There is no "half-life" associated with suboxone. Suboxone (buprenorphine HCl and naloxone HCl) has a shelf life of three years (either a whole one or half of one) if stored under nominal conditions. Additionally, the product is fairly stable and retains potency beyond the 3-year window if stored well.

nothing you will be fine. The percocet is already mostly out of your system in about five hours. Just do not ever take suboxone and then take and kind of opiate pain relievers because you will get very sick.
