What is the horsepower of a 1976 Ford F-250 pickup?
It depends on the engine size. You need to list that. The common size was the 351M/ 400M engine (listed on the valve cover) these were approximately 200/225 net horsepower. These were carburated engines and I thought they were very sluggish compared to later fuel injected versions.
How do you change the oil on a 1987 suzuki alto?
To change the oil on a Suzuki Alto (87) you need the following items. 1. Shifter Spaner 2. Bucket (For oil when emptied) 3. Cloth (To wipe mess up if any) 4. The new oil Method I found fit: 1. Jack the Alto's front up, you'll find a spot under the bumper. 2. you will find a small shape bolt facing the rear of the car siutated at the lowest point of the motor. 3. Get the bucket in posistion under the bolt, leave room for the parabolic path of the oil once started flowing. 4. When empty, tighten bolt, remove oil container, and lower jack. 5. Fill the oil bay with new refreshed oil. If you need pictures or more assistance, email me at: cm45591@yahoo.com Hope that helped!
How do you remove the starter motor on a 1998 punto?
added by big.paul (30/1/10)
This answer implies that 2 of the 3 bolts are reverse thread but I can confirm that all 3 bolts are normal thread. The left and right relates to direction of the bolt. 1 is accessed from the battery side, the other 2 from the centre.

Also be aware there is a group of 5 or so coloured wires that earth (all together) onto the engine block directly underneath the starter. As the starter can be awkward to get out and in when working from above, you can accidentally loosen this earthing, which is probably already corroded. This causes problems in the fuel pump relay and (in my case) non starting (and not due to the starter motor!!). When changing the starter, I would recommend disconnecting this earth strap first, cleaning up with emery cloth etc and reconnecting once the starter is back in place. Makes everything easier and more reliable.

What is the horsepower on a 79 Ford 460?
I have a 1993 f-250 with a 460 in it and the rated HP is 245. I believe that the 460 has been in that area of hp output for many years. Also, My truck has electronic fuel injection - so, if yours is carbuerated then it would be slightly less. According to the specs page in the Chilton's manual, ford pickups w/460 v-8s in '79 were rated at 239 HP@ 4000 rpm and 375 Lb-ft torque @2400 rpm stock. Of course, vans will be slightly less (crummy exhaust), and F350's slightly more (no emissions equipment). - hughes 1701
