Do you have enough training? Is there chance the person will be alive? What would you want somebody to do? And remember. They will be somebody's father, mother, daughter, son, brother, sister, friend, or lover. Imagine if you lost somebody because nobody tried to save them.

Removing the air from your lungs makes you less bouyant and allows you to sink faster.
I never exhale when doing a surface dive so I can swim down deeper, if you do the surface dive properly by throwing your legs high out of the water you will sink fast enough.

Rules are important in swimming because without rules you can risk your life, especially in this sport. As well as this, nothing can run smoothly without rules. So rules are an important part of the game. There is always a betterment in rules. Of course, somebody experienced must have made them, so there is no point in not following them.

You need to exhale and completely empty your lungs. You will then sink to the bottom, where you can sit (or lie) down. Do not forget to resurface and refill your lungs. And, do not hyperventilate before trying this.
Where can you find salt water pools that are used for competitive swimming?
There aren't any. Salt water is bad for swimming competitively because the salt in the water burns the swimmers skin after a while in the water and they because dehydrated and they become thirsty. But if you were to conduct a event where there was a need for a salt water pool then you could probably make the event in a shark-free part of the ocean.
How do you do the pike swimming technique?
A surface dive is executed by starting laid flat on the surface and face down. Pull both arms forward and bend at the waist. This will take the upper part of your body under the surface.
Then bend your knees and point your feet into the air and you will be propelled under the surface towards the bottom (depending on your buoyancy).
this is totally a personal preference. i love my very short FORCE FINS but others love their very long freeDiving fins. many factors influence a person fin preference because of individuals swimming preference, FORCE FINS use more of the calf muscle similar to short bicycle strokes, whereas a paif of long freeDiving fins use more of the whole leg.
