There are a variety of bonuses you can gain from sleeping for 8 hours. Normally it is a 5% bonus to any experience gained for the next 8 in-game hours. However you will gain 10% if it is a bed at an inn, or a bed you own, and 15% if you slept with your spouse.

However if you are a werewolf, you do not receive any of the resting bonuses.

That enchantment's strength, when you enchant an item, depends on your Enchant skill, it is not the same strength as when it was on the item you learned it from.

So if you disenchant an item that boosts Smithing by 30, then all you learn is the 'Fortify Smithing' enchantment. When you yourself enchant an item with it, the boost will be different. It may be much lower than the original item it came from, it might even be higher if your Enchant skill is 100 and you are boosting it further using equipment and potions.

Just so you understand, the ATI Catalyst Control Center actually chews up some CPU resources as it attempts to add to what you can set in the Skyrim configurations directly... thus, giving you an instant frame rate hit by disabling it or not assigning Skyrim specific graphic profiles. You can simply use NotePad and edit the INI file as it has loads more Skyrim specific settings than the CCC, which only has generic graphic tweaking functions. Go and seek the Nexus forums on Skyrim tweaks to see how it is done to really enhance your game.

Not really. Sure, you can break into a house and sleep or whatever - but any items that you store in a house that you do not own will not be there when you return for them. Also, you run the risk of being branded a criminal (for breaking and entering, etc) if the owner of a house catches you.

Whilst I am unaware of mods to censor the language, as it involves editing all of the sound files containing bad dialogue (as well as the subtitles for that dialogue), it's not impossible that one will exist or be in the works.

As for gore, there is already an option in the settings files that should disable gore.

in that folder there should be a file called skyrim.ini
