Well, I would assume a man who likes FTMs would be gay. Successful post-op female-to-males are men. They were born incorrectly as a woman, and changed their body to match their mind. So I would guess that a man who likes FTMs is gay.

Actually, it is non-op transgendered persons (men in drag) who would say this, not genuine TS persons who have or will get corrective surgery. Since they are effectively men, as they have a penis and want to keep it, and since the context here is having another male as a partner, then this means the same as it does in gay male lingo.
