You seem to think that only one artist in history has painted laundry women. That is not so. The most famous paintings on this subject were made by Edgar Degas.

First you try and make out a few letters, then you determine if it is a oil ,watercolor or whatever the medium is. Then you must have a Monograms and Signatures book, either American or European version. Try and match up the signature, Can be very time consuming. I spent 2 years before I think I know the artist on a oil painting.

I too have a similar painting with the same signature except there is no 1900 listed but has original price tag attached dated 1900's my question is "What it worth?"

I have one too that I just found at a flea market. Lady told me that it came from a real estate sale and had been stored for years.. probably old but I am sure a print.. It's worth as much as you want it to be, it's your's.. enjoy it and you'll see it again in an antique store if you visit those places, you'll see how much it is worth by the tag on the next.. It is worth what one is willing to give for it ...

If you are referring to Gioachino Rossini, he was a Romantic composer, not a painter. He composed over 39 operas, including William Tell and The Barber of Seville.
