During the most recent Basic Life Support (BLS) training at work, I found the hands-on practice to be particularly valuable, especially with CPR techniques and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The instructor emphasized the importance of quick response times and effective compressions, which reinforced the critical role we play in emergencies. I appreciated the opportunity to refresh my skills and the chance to ask questions, making me feel more confident in my ability to act if needed. Overall, the training reinforced the importance of teamwork in emergency situations and the need for ongoing education in lifesaving techniques.

Where did pat tillman go to basic training?
I believe he had an Infantry MOS, in which case, he would've done One Station Unit Training (Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, rolled into one package) at Fort Benning, Georgia.
What is the boot camp's address in fort benning Georgia?
It would depend on which unit the person you're writing to is. There are several different training battalions at Fort Benning. If they are undergoing training in, for example, Alpha Company, 2/58 (I'm just using this as an example), the address would look like:
PVT Joe Somebody
A Co. 2/58 IN
Fort Benning, GA 31905
Before writing, you need to know their unit, as Fort Benning has several units there, and a letter posted to
PVT Joe Somebody
Fort Benning, GA 31905
is going to be returned to the sender.
If you join the Alaska National Guard where do you typically go for basic training?

How do thay treat you in boot camp?
Remember military boot camp is meant to take a civilian and turn them into a sailor\soldier\marine\airman. You'll get yelled at for pretty much everything you do, everything you do is wrong. They teach you to work as a team not an individual, if somebody messes up you all get punished. It's really intense, they put you on the spot to see how you react to certain situations. In the beginning it's all yelling and very confusing. After about 3 weeks you'll notice they start being a bit softer on you, they'll talk normally sometimes, explain things more, etc. After a month and a half or so they actually start liking you.
When I was at boot camp my division was messing up a lot, some of us were slacking off and things like that. Our RDC got us into formation in the center of the compartment and played some youtube videos for us. One of them was about a SEAL who jumped on a grenade to save his shipmates, he died but everybody else survived. The second video was a video about 9/11, it was a bunch of pictures and videos of what happened on 9/11 along with a song and a little girl talking about her father who died during the attack, how she misses him and shell see him again some day, etc. After the video he said that was to remind you what you're fighting for, every one of us was crying.
It's a great experience though, the people you go through bootcamp with are going to be lifelong friends, you eat, sleep, shower, learn, workout, get yelled at together. My RDC was a diehard Packers fan so he got us all to write a letter to the packers asking them to come workout with us for a day (They just sent us some magazines).

Which branches of the military have the most rigorous to the least rigorous military basic training?
#1, at 2 years 15 months before they receive their Beret signifying their completion of training, The United States Air Force Pararescue Jumpers have the longestng of them all.
#2 As far as Basic Training is concerned, every Basic Training/Boot Camp, is challenging in its own right. All branches, Marines/Air Force/Army/Navy/Coast Guard are all in their own right challenging and will demand only the best of the individual. All branches are strenuous physically and mentally all at the same time. Marine Corps Bootcamp is 12 weeks long. Almost immediately after "Receiving" Week, you begin Combat techniques and Marine Corps Core Values. In fact, three entire weeks you are on grass/rifleman/eval phase. Navy Basic Training is about 9 weeks long. Their ENTIRE basic training is located inside of buildings called "ships". The Air Force has been beefing up basic training over several years. Never once has basic been "easy". USAF Basic training is now 8.5 weeks long. However, during the testing phase of this change officialized in October of 2008 (Started in November of 2005), the original 7 week long basic was put into over time to test out the changes that are now implemented. Changes such as, Pugil Stick fighting, Hand to hand combat, and a three week field training spread. Demand or level of it is a matter of the individual service member. Length of training is easier to measure:
Marine Corps : 12 weeks
Navy : 9 weeks
Army: 9 weeks
Coast Guard: 9 weeks
Air Force : 8.5 weeks
What gun is better the M16 or the UMP45?
UMP45 because its automatic and overpowered. The only benefit with the the M16 is that it has barely any recoil. I would go with the UMP45.
It's really a comparison of apples and oranges. The UMP is a submachinegun, whereas the M16 is an assault rifle. The UMP fires a pistol cartridge, thus, you're looking at an effective range of 50 to 100 metres, vs. the M16, which has an effective range of 550 metres at a point target.
It depends upon the laws of the state where you live. In the majority of cases the 17-years-old is considered emancipated once he or she has been sworn in to the branch of the military that they have chosen.
