Vasco Da Gama sailed to mexico in search of gems and gold. He was attacked by a mexican monster called a Meatless Taco. The monster took Vasco Da Gama to his Taco bell to eat him. First the monster put him in the fryer to get him nice and crispy, then he put the explorer in a meat grinder to get the flesh and bones nice and squishy. After that the monster made the flesh and bones into little chunks, then he put Vasta Da Goma's chunks in the fryer one last time and then the monster sent them to McDonnalds to be chicken nuggets. About a month the monster sent an e-mail to all of Vasco Da Gama's friends saying that he died of starvation.

I have read two causes of death: either malaria or overwork and exhaustion.

The main obstacle that Vasco Da Gama encountered was simply the disease that he came down with. Going on multiple expeditions can be hard on an explorer, and without the medicine that is available today, he died when he got malaria on his second expedition.

Vasco de Gama set out to find a sea route to India and was successful. In 1497, he set sail along the African coast and then on to India, crossing 6,000 miles of open ocean, the longest ocean passage ever made. He arrived in Kappadu, near Calcutta in 1498.

Portuguese King Manuel I offered Vasco de Gama support on his first voyage. Other Portuguese royalty supported him on other journeys.

He did have a failure. Most of his men died from scurvy (a lack of Vitamin C).

receiving pensions and a lucrative slice of the Eastern trade.
