To replace the motor you start by removing the exhaust or you can undo the mount and lift out the motor. Consult owners manual for additional information.
"The bulb snaps in from behind the light." It's a little more involved then that - make sure your lights are off and DO NOT touch the new bulb (it will impact it's life span). 1 - First you have to unplug the bulb by pulling the connector straight back. 2 - Rotate the white plastic restrainer clip until it comes off. 3 - Pull the bulb out. However, sometimes there is a clip locking the connector to the bulb that needs to be lifted with a screw driver, which due to the limited space is very difficult. If that's the case skip step 1 above, complete 2 & 3, and then use the screw driver to undue the clasp. To replace it: 1 - Notice there are 3 notches on the base of the bulb, 2 of which are closer to each other. While you are trying to put in the bulb look through the clear plastic lens of the headlight and match the chrome tabs to these. 2 - Once you line them up, gently push it into place until it seats itself. 3 - Replace the white plastic restrainer by rotating it. 4 - Plug the connector in.
The flasher for the 1997 xh falcon is located to the left of the steering column. When you remove the cover to access the fuse box on the right of the steering column the flasher will be visible on the left. ie opposite the in car fuses.
It could be a faulty unit or a disconnected connection (oxymoron?). I would need to know the car and year to give you specific instructions on how to go about checking the connection. You could remove the fuel tank to access the fuel sender. However if you remove the carpet in the boot there is a rectangular template marked on the floor. Cut this out and you can remove the fuel guage sender. Once the cause of the problem has been rectified, make up a hinge and fastner arrangement for future access.
check cable
Fronteras don't have clutch cables. They are hydraulic, so check you have plenty of fluid in the reservoir. Then check the spring on the pedal hasn't broken or come off.
If all is ok, bleed the system.
It could also be possible that the master cylinder has stuck.
On the 3 door model:
there should be a box on the right hand side as you open the boot
On 5 door model:
Open up both rear passenger seats (there's a small black belt on each of them, next to safety belts). There are pockets on each of seats, from underneath, one pocket contains jack, other contains wheel wrench and jack lever
You may ned to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector. The wind is probably blowing, or a cat is walking across the car and causing the alarm to activate.
my camaro was doing the same thing and i found a bad ground. check and clean all cassis grounds
Try these quick fixes. 1) poor quality oil, loses compression, prone to this model 2) fuel filters also prone to blocking 3) fuel pump also known to failure, not cheap
could be door switches sticking
it could be the above but it appears that on Frontera's approaching 10 years old the power sounder which activates when the battery is disconnected becomes faulty.
the main fault is with the batteries inside the unit, I have removed mine to revent it sounding in the middle of the night
your oil pump could be on the way out also check the oil pick up it could be blocked due to lack of oil changes
Answer 2:
If the oil pressure guage reads ok, then it is an electrical problem.
