Does Geritol make you more fertile?
Not likely. In general, it will make you healthier to be on a multivitamin, and you should ideally be getting at least 400mcg of Folic Acid at least three months before conceiving, but the vitamin itself probably won't make you more fertile. I think so after taking Geritol for about one month the next month i was pregnant. The trick is that you have to take the liquid form and at the sametime everyday. Even still take the liquid form of Geritol the first three months of your prgnancy. I took Geritol for 4 weeks and ended up getting pregnant. Unfortunately my pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. The greatest thing that came out of this is I became pregnant after 4 years of trying. I have taken so many herbs, vitamins, and minerals that I have a collection. I have temped and everything and I take Geritol for 4 weeks and I got pregnant speaks volumes about the vitamin. It is worth a try!!!
Is it safe to take niacin with milk thistle?
Yes. Milk thistle has very few interactions. On the other hand, the mechanism of niacin's beneficial actions aren't well understood, but they seem to involve how it is processed in the liver. So if I were taking milk thistle and niacin, I would be inclined to take them a few hours apart, so that the liver can deal with the niacin without the milk thistle interfering...
What are the benefits of Evening Primrose Oil?
The oil of evening primrose is very rich in polysaturated comega-6 fatty acids, which are necessary fatty acids that body needs to complete numerous functions including insulin absorption, regulating the heart, and regulating mood. The body does not manufacture these fatty acids on its own, so they have to be taken as food or food supplements. Aside from the omega-6 fatty acids, evening primrose oil has linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid ("GLA"). Both of these acids are very important and very beneficial to general well-being. Linoleic acid is thought to help the body make use of insulin, regulate weight, and prevent cancer and heart disease. GLA is thought to reduce swelling or irritation. Because of the high GLA content of evening primrose, it is recommended to help treat inflammatory ailments like asthma or arthritis. Research also indicates that evening primrose could benefit sufferers of chronic fatigue syndrome, but little is understood about chronic fatigue syndrome and further studies are needed. Evening primrose oil is also used to treat the symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome, menopause, and the soreness of the breasts that often accompanies menstruation. GLA is often recommended to help ease the discomforts of PMS, and evening primrose has high levels of GLA. However, systematic testing of these applications is lacking. Many of the benefits of evening primrose have yet to be thoroughly studied. Evening primrose oil can be taken both internally and externally. It has been known to improve acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin problems. Evening primrose oil is also used in many lotions and creams since it has emollient properties that hydrate and soften the skin.

It's not a sign of pregnancy for your urine to change color ... though I guess it's more likely to happen when you are pregnant. The reason your urine changes color is either from not drinking enough water or a urinary tract infection (if you are pregnant you need more water than if you aren't and uti's are also very common among pregnant women). If it has changed to a very dark yellow you need to speak to your doctor. Often pregnant women notice that their urine becomes a bright yellow. Naturally, many think this is due to pregnancy. However, it is actually due to the B-complex in their vitamins. B-vitamins will give urine a bright yellow color. ! Kathryn RN You might be dehydrated you should drink alot more water you may not be getting enough. Not drinking enough water will make your urine a dull yellow and a lot of water can make it almost run clear. Vitamins also change the color of your urine. But no, it is not a sign.
