In1953 scientist Watson and crick discovered that the structure of DNA forms the shape of a double helix ladder.

Watson and Crick did not conduct experiments of their own to discover the structure of DNA. Instead, they used existing data, particularly Franklin's X-ray diffraction images, to propose the double helix model of DNA in 1953. Their model was based on analyzing and interpreting the data with the help of Chargaff's rules.

I have found on other sites and blogs information concerning Ouimet. It stated that his wife was named Stella Sullivan and that they married in September of 1918. They had two children, Jane Salvi and Barbara McLean. Unfortunately, the newspaper articles sited as the source for that information no longer exist on the Internet. There is a site called www.ouimet.org but there is no info in the biography about a wife or children.
