Avast seems to be one of a few antivirus applications out there that support the Windows xp pro x64 operating system, and it's free. Although you still need to find a compatible firewall. AVG is good and I think it also has a firewall. As an XP x64 user I have found Comodo Internet suite seems to run the best as far as resources and ease of use. It also has a built in firewall and is pretty much "plug and play" in that you basically install it and let it do its job. Everything from scanning to updates to firewall rules has already been done for you, but these are trivially easy to change from the Comodo control panel if you so desire.

Yes you can! To do it, you need to download a program called Oceanis.

After you download it, install the program. Then you will have to restart your computer. When you open the program, it will ask you to browse for a folder with pictures. Select a folder and then choose the pictures that you want to have on your desktop.

If you choose more than one picture, your computer will play the pictures as a slide show on your desktop. However if you only choose 1 picture, your computer will only show that 1 picture. 1. Click on the Cursor Mania button on the toolbar

2. Click "Default" from the side menu on the left

Install Windows XP mode on Windows 7. Connect your printer. At the taskbar at the top of the XP mode window, click on the USB tab. Select the Kyocera Fs-720 printer. If it asks you if you want to share, click yes. Your printer is now detected by the virtual xp machine.

Download the XP Kyocera Fs-720 driver. Install it. Open the document you want to print in the XP mode and print. You cannot print from Windows 7. You have to do so via the xp mode.

To print in the future, you will have to always click on the USB tab and share the printer. (This disconnects it from Windows 7 and connects it to the virtual XP mode machine).

Overall windows 7 is more stable than windows xp but requires sufficiently higher resoureses.

Windows XP Pro enables users to roll back an installation of XP to an original installation of Win98 or ME as long as the boot partition is formatted with FAT or FAT32.

I would never advise using ME, use Win98se if you have to, its more or less ME but faster but then its not very stable. Use Win2k or XP is my advice.

Why would you want to. Windows ME is the worst OS Microsoft ever came out with! If anything you need to up grade to 2000 or XP.

as of recently, it is impossible to downgrade to windows me, your only options right now are xp (support ending soon), vista (don't do it), 7, and soon to be 8. Those are the only options for windows right now.

I'm not sure what you mean. But if you mean that you want to format a hard drive or partion which is not a system file disk/partion. Then it's really easy to do. Start My Computer, right click on the hard drive/partion which you want to format and choose format, then choose file system which you prefer to format, and press ok/start.

This a fast trick to get you computer in DOS mode. Power off your computer then power it back on, while your computer is turning on keep pressing F8 repeatedly until you computer prompts you how you want to run. Some of your options will be run in safe mode, run in safe mode with networking, but you will select run in DOS mode. Once your in your DOS mode then you are ready to go!
