How can you jam the neighbors police scanner?
This is a highly illegal act of sabotage. As Answers.com has to abide by the law, we cannot give you an answer. In the US for example, jamming a radio signal is a serious violation of FCC regulations.
If you were to jam the neighbour's police scanner, you would also end up jamming other local radio signals as well as real emergency service's scanners and radios. Possibly even the radios of low-flying aircraft.
If you jam these signals or attempt to do so, the jamming can be triangulated back to you and you will be arrested for unlawful sabotage. Especially if your actions cause a death locally because you were jamming the radios of a nearby ambulance, for example.
Radio jamming is only done legally by law enforcement or national security with a court-issued warrant in serious situations. For example authorities will jam the communication and radio signals in an area before raiding the home of a suspected terrorist, so the dangerous suspects can not be alerted early if they are listening to a scanner and so they cannot warn other terrorists to hide. Just to give an example of lawful jamming use.

Does mobile phone xchange work?
Having sent my old phones to Mobile Phone Xchange (an 8g iPhone and a Nokia 7370) I was very happy with the service. I read some reviews on various forums which gave bad press but figured only disgruntled people are the most vocal and those who had good experiences wouldn't bother leaving positive feedback because they're too busy spending their money. Anyway, I was quoted £102 for both phones and that is the amount I received. I had resigned myself to the fact that my Nokia might not be worth the full value because it was quite heavily used, but everything worked out well! So in answer to your question - Yes, Mobile Phone Xchange DOES work.

Mobile Phone Xchange is all about getting money for your old mobile phones. So many people are unaware that their old mobiles are worth money because they got them for free from the networks on their last upgrade. At Mobile phone Xchange we look at each phone model and place a value on it. All a customer has to do is visit the website - identify their phone, and send it in (freepost). Mobile Phone Xchange will then pay via cheque or Bacs in about three days. It's a really quick and simple process and one which thousands of customers use every day so coming back to the question yes 100%, Mobile Phone Xchange works.
Hope this all helps

Mobile phone xchange is definitely all about getting money for you old mobile phones, but its not about giving you money for them!!!
They have a history of stating that mobiles received are not working and offer far less than they initially offered.
If u don't query this u get a pitiful sum for your device. If you do query this you'll find they are unreachable by telephone, dont reply to emails and have to be sent letters by recorded delivery before they respond.
Standard practice at this stage seems to be to to "recheck" the handset in question, and find that it is mysteriously now working and offer substantially more, although nowhere near your original quote, as they have found some other new excuse which prevents them from honoring the original deal.
Also be aware of their terms and conditions, which state that if you do not wish to accept, whatever they decide to offer you for the handset, you will be required to pay £10 for "post and packaging and admin" to get your phone back, and that they have to receive a cheque for this amount within 5 days or they will be unable to return your phone.
Reports have been forwarded to trading standards via consumer direct about this company's practices.
Hope this has been helpful!

Why mobile phones should be banned?
I don't want to ban them; they're helpful in emergencies. But, people why use them in public places and then yell like they and their listener are deaf? Plus, they talk for too long. These should be limited in these places: * At meetings (if it's not an emergency, take a message) * At theaters (if it's not an emergency, take a message) * At places of Worship (if it's not an emergency, take a message) * Walking around in public (it could be brief if you need directions) * DRIVING A CAR (pull over if you need to get directions) * While they are eating (pull over if you need to eat) * At social occasions. (if it's not an emergency, take a message) * When they should be spending time with their children (Two parents were at a mall with a child, about five walking from their car, holding the child's hands and talking away on their cell phones. You could tell the child wanted to talk to his parents, but they were too busy on their phones). I know cell phones have helped in communications with very busy people, but there is a time and a place for everything. Also, those loud, stupid ringtones; they could put the phone on vibrate, or even turn it off for a while. PLEASE!!!
