WIT Program
Wiki Influential Teens (WIT) exists to build the feeling of community among WikiAnswers’ teen contributors by providing a safe online locale for teens to hang out and ask and answer questions. WIT will empower teens to assist in running WikiAnswers through group projects, as well as embrace their leadership abilities by teaching younger contributors how to correctly use the site and its features. While doing so, teens will learn cooperation, understanding, and leadership skills.

What does a WIT Reward badge look like?

What is the difference between a WIT Supervisor and a WIT Adult Advisor?
WIT Supervisors and WIT Adult Advisors are a part of the Wiki Influential Teens program here on Answers. They both have the same badge, but their roles are very different.
WIT Supervisor Adult Advisors (also known as WIT Staff or WIT Supervisors)
These are the program staff. They are responsible for a number of things:
- Managing and maintaining the WIT webpage
- Managing and maintaining the WIT members
- Managing and maintaining the WIT social network pages
- Managing and maintaining the secure database containing WIT member details
- Managing and maintaining the WIT forum
- Check missions have been completed accurately
- Reject and re-assign missions that are improperly completed
- Accept and pass missions that are properly completed
- Assess whether WIT members are eligible to receive a gift from the program
- Attend a weekly meeting to discuss progress, changes, ideas and initiatives
- Provide assistance to WIT members
- Mentor WIT members
- Scout WIT members for potential TIP membership opportunities
- Scout Answers activity of potential new WIT members
The WIT Supervisor Adult Advisors (WIT Staff) are:
- Zapallar (Leader)
- Xnicola (Senior Advanced Supervisor / Senior Mentor)
- Skullcandy88 (Advanced Supervisor / Senior Mentor)
WIT Volunteer Adult Advisors
These are volunteers that assist with the program by:
- Providing assistance to WIT members
- Performing tasks requested by WIT Staff (sending messages, etc)

What does it mean to have assertive wit?
Having assertive wit means being clever and sharp in your communication, while also being confident and direct in expressing your thoughts and opinions. It involves a balance of humor, intelligence, and self-assuredness in your interactions with others.
Why do you have to tell how you knew the WIT Program when you sign up for it?
We like to know how you learned about WIT so we know the areas on which we need to focus when promoting the program.
Is a Special Project Assistant part of the WIT program?
No, although users are often members of both programs.
WIT Teams were a way of dividing members into groups, or "teams", and having them complete missions.
Nowadays teams have been removed and everyone is free to perform whatever WIT missions they like from the list of selectable missions available on the WIT page.
Now, the "WIT Team" is used to refer to the Supervisors who run the program. they are Zapallar, Xnicola and Skullcandy88.
When you respond to a civil summons how long does it take to hear back?
The general time frame is ten (10-14 business days).
What is the difference between a corporate division and a DBA name?

How long must you wait before you are admitted to the WIT program via email?
When you apply to WIT, be sure to include all necessary information in order to expedite the process. Necessary info includes:

* Date of birth
* Which of the four WIT divisions you wish to join
* Your favorite topics on WikiAnswers
* How you heard about the WIT Program
Once you apply to join WIT, someone will contact you within one business day.

How does the WIT program work?
Why should you join a teen group on WikiAnswers, though? For starters, you'll meet some of the nicest, smartest, and best teens on the Internet. No joke! You'll also be participating on the fastest-growing (that's a fact) and best (our opinion, or is it more than that?), Q&A site on the Web. That's no joke, either! Hey, even the adults here are cool! Which members have the WIT Alumni badge?
WIT Alumni badges are issued to WIT members once they reach 19 years of age. The badges can also be issued to WIT members in good standing who decide to retire or move on from the program.
The WIT Program is the Wiki Answers Influential Teen, they help make other contributors/members feel welcomed to the site. In addition to that the Wiki influential teens has a job to complete within the site, and its to make it better, safer, and more fun for others to enjoy.
What are some examples of WIT missions?
-Split through alternates
-Feature questions (Supervisors only)
-Answer 50 questions
-Recategorize 100 questions
-Make 100 [quality] contributions to a certain category
WIT missions are tasks you have to complete for your WIT Division.
They will be assigned to you by Neila222, the WIT Program Coordinator.
How old do you have to be to join the WIT program?
You have to be between the ages of 13 and 18 to join WIT.
