Yes, wolves are omnivores. Wolves supplement their diet with fruit and vegetable matter. They willingly eat the berries of mountain ash, lily of the valley, bilberries, blueberries and cowberry. Other fruits include nightshade, apples and pears. They readily visit melon fields during the summer months.

Mutualism: The Oak tree provides the squirrel with shelter and acorns to eat. The squirrel buries some of the acorns, and does not find all of them. The acorns grow into baby oak trees. The squirrel gets food and shelter, and in turn makes more oak trees.

Usually, 2 wolves would fight for a female, and the winner would mate with her, and they would officially become the alpha's. A wolf can't randomly fight to become alpha, because not all of the wolves are suited for the packs needs.

Also, the Beta wolves become the alpha's after one of the alpha's die, or get to old or injured to lead the pack anymore. It all depends on the packs needs! ;)

Well a wolf and a coyote are both from the dog family. A wolf of course is bigger than a coyote. Coyotes are like the weak link of the wild dog family. Compared to wolves they are a lot weaker. But they both usually live in the same places and eat the same food. Even though the coyote usually is a scavnger, eating most of the wolves kills if they get a chance. They have four toes with claws on each paw, long fangs, forward-facing eyes, dewclaws on the front feet. They even walk on their toes.

A gray wolf is warm blooded because it is a placental, mammal, and it eats a lot to use energy and can sustain a constant body temperature (which is warm). Therefore, it is warm-blooded. :)
