How many years does it take to become a dental hygeinist?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It take two years full time in the u.k. It all depends on the level of education and how much experience you want when you apply for a job. You can do 2yr of community college, taking Chemistry, Organic chemistry, biology, sociology and more. And then apply for a 2yr Ass. program or a 4yr and get a bachelors in dental science. which would look a heck of a lot better, and you'd probably get pick for the job you want over the 2yr guy. So all in all it ranges from 2-6 yrs....But the more school, the more experience, the more money.
