Nope. He gets the credit but Maxwell and Faraday did the work. :) Induction heating using Hysterisis will be Steinmetz work. :) Tesla didn't discover that either.

Tesla was brilliant and he discovered a lot of things. But people attribute a lot to his observations of things which were already known - because he was in the papers a lot - as if he discovered them when he didn't. (He also seldom corrected anyone.)
