you need the special wire tools...they sort of look like big v-shaped paper clips. You need 2, one on each side of the radio. You may have noticed 2 little holes on each side of the radio's front. The radio removal tool is inserted in the holes, and it attaches to little clips inside. You then pull the radio out. I believe that when you remove the radio, the security system scrambles the radio's code, and it must be re-programed in order for the radio to work. I think your local MB dealer can help you with that...or a local radio shop familiar with MB radios.
Open the trunk and pull down the carpet on the left wall. It should be there. It is usually a box about 6" x 3" and about 1.5" high, with a single plug in the center. The plug is virtually square in shape.
Under the truck very near the front bumper is a small plastic door; use a screwdriver to open the door. Your filter is there.
It's beside the air filter( upper right cornner) hope this help
Open the hood and look around you will find a small black square box with a cap; open it you will see a small post appx. 1/2 in in diameter. Connect the + (positive) to it and - (negative) to the metal if you can not open the trunk. Other wise the battery is located on the right hand corner (passenger side) in the trunk.
