You got to change the fuel sending unit which involves dropping the fuel tank , aint really a bad job if you have a lift

My fan blade is positioned too close to the housing. Whenever I would pull on the fan (from under the passenger side dash), it would start up.

I have had continual problems with the heating and fan operation of my car.

It is the last Ford that I buy because of the continual problem.

chk to see if yu have it positioned in the fan housing correctly , yu may have it in the worng position and causing it to be tilted the worng way , its an easy mistake to make

motor won't start.

It has a bolt at the center of it' BE AWARE that this bolt is reversed threaded, that means the direction normally used (right, is counter clockwise) to loosen , and left is "clockwise"to tighten, therefor when removing the bolt you go in the direction of tightening to remove it, the reason for this application is that the bolt is used to releive the tension on the serpentene belt to take it off for replacement.

If you know the location you need a TORX bit, there are only 2 screws there, remove the wire first, this usually is very simple. You should also clean the inside area with carb/fuel injector spray as well as the throttle body for the best results as there may be some oil in there at times.don't use too much at one time as it will make it start hard at first, does this help?

Clipped to the firewall, passenger compartment, just above where the passenger's feet would be. Remove the plastic cover (I think 7mm bolts) and you'll see the bottom of it.

On the drivers' side above left foot, it has a cover on it with a pulldown on it, it has 2 little inserts to keep it in place that go in the direction of the glovebox, it easily drops down when you use the elevated grip, also be aware that thre are othe relays and fuses hiden on the right side kick panel that are easily accessed, but no information is put there for whatever they are there for, but the one you are looking for does have the applications for each fuse and the 2 circuit breakers there

Pop the hood and look at the back side of the lights, the outside ones are the normal headlights, the other light in the clear case will be your brights. Pull out the wiring connector - the gray thing with 2 wires going in it. There will be a black plastic lock ring that you turn counter-clockwise to unlock. Pull out the headlight and replace it. Then put the lock ring back on (good luck with that one, I'm having a hard time getting mine back in). Last, just put the wiring connector back in. For the passenger headlight you'll need to take your battery out. For the battery removal you should need a 8mm wrench for the terminal bolts and a 13mm ratchet and extender for the bracket.

push back on tensioner, then re move belt.
