just change my 96s come from top 1 remove the air box 2 remove wire harness bolt and move to side ( input sensor plug must be removed too)3 sol pack is held by three bolts on top 4 very light tap or pry pop it off clean off all old gkt and dirt 5 install new pack 6 change trans fliud & filter use mopar atf plus 4 also use a mopar sol pack! I didn't and had to do it twice also a go time it change the input & output sensors,check trans relay frist,good luck
On the side of the transmission. It is called a solenoid pack. To change a shift solenoid you must replace that. Having been in the transmission business for a long time you probably have more wrong than that with that particular transmission.
About 5 for a filter change. 9 for dry fill.
