You will need to go through the passenger front wheel well (wheel off). Remove belt, remove pulley/balancer with a balancer puller tool. Air tools make this job MUCH easier.
at the front of the engine, next to the harmonic balancer
You need a harmonic balancer puller, and a 1/2 in drive inpact wrench.
The flywheel has to be held in place by a holding tool, Remove the mounting bolt, then use a balancer remover to pull the harmonic balancer.
sounds like the rubber damper is worn on the harmonic balancer. if this is the case you will have to replace the harmonic balancer.
Actually, you don't replace the sensor itself. The crazy thing is part of the harmonic balancer, and you have to replace the whole thing.
no it;s behind the harmonic balancer take off passenger right front tire and you can get at it. you will need a wheel puller to pull the harmonic balancer off
it is behind the harmonic balancer.
Behind the harmonic balancer.
yes
About 200 foot pounds.
take off your harmonic balancer the answer is behind
sounds like you broke the crank sensor that is mounted right behind the balancer.
