It is down to the amount of rainfall the places receive, rather than the obvious things like whether trees exist at one place than another.

Rainfall is the reason large parts of Antarctica is considered desert. It gets very little rain.

This has knock-on effects to plants and wildlife living in those areas. Forests having a much larger diversity of plant and animal life.

The shortfin mako is a widespread pelagic that lives in coastal and open ocean waters.

The desert has such a diversity of animals ranging from cold booded lizards that sun bathe during the day, to desert owls that hunt at night for dune mice. The reason that there is such a diversity is that it is scorching hot during the day, and below freezing at night.

When it comes to the marine biome, climate doesn't really effect it much. It is warmer as you get closer to the equator and it is colder as you get closer to the poles. Even though the climate doesn't effect the marine biome, the marine effects the mainlands climate a lot. Its currents affect all the coastal areas. Another way the marine affects the coastal areas are the winds, depending upon the temperature of the water, the winds usually match that temperature.

The average winter temperature is -34° C (-30° F), but the average summer temperature is 3-12° C (37-54° F) which enables this biome to sustain life.
It really depends on where you are if it's a tundra desert its bound to be hot or maybe even scorching!! But having said that if you stand on a ..... frozen over tundra then you would most probly be Freezing cold maybe slighty numb if you stand at the top of a tundra mountin.... Hope this as help (: .x

Producers are organisms that use sunlight directly to make food. They do this by using a process called photosynthesis. Most producers are plants, but algae and some bacteria are also producers. Grasses are the main producers ina prairie ecosystem/grassland. Examples of other producers in other ecosystems inlcude cordgrass and algae in a salt marsh and trees in a forest. Algae are the main producers in the ocean.
