A Mild Leukemia may be something like Thrombocytopenia. That is a lack of platelets-cells that cause blood to clot properly so we don;t bleed to death.
Mild Leukemias are know as Indolent Leukemia's. Many of them do not even require treatment and patients are just monitored with simple blood counts every few months or a few times a year. Also known as Follicular Leukemia.
Yes, it can. It's called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Google it extensively and you will fine a lot of information and even film clips from news shows, etc. Get to a doctor fast. I understand that this type is aggressive and often shows up in younger women.
Personally, I recommend that everyone learn how to do a breast self exam and do it monthly. Make it part of your routine. Know thyself. If we all waited for the medical community to make their minds up about when to look, too many of us would be gone. Do it yourself, then get to the doctor with the facts that will get you checked out.
What could cause a lump on your testicle and make that testicle larger and firmer than the other?
Frequently the cause of this is a cyst in the scrotum, which is harmless. However, it is important to check it out with a doctor because it might be something serious.
There are about 200 types of cancer, and these diseases are very complex. However, while viruses can make one more susceptible to cancer, current medical science does not recognize viruses as a cause of cancer.
Can a woman be affected by a man who has radiation for prostate cancer?
The previous answer is not accurate. Women also have prostate glands, previously called paraurethral or Skene's glands, connected to the distal third of the urethra in the prevaginal space. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostate#Female_prostate_gland http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skene%27s_gland
What surgical treatment exists for patients with esophageal cancer?
Usually, no. However, that being said, there are surgical procedures which have been able to resect the entirely of the affected area involved, and occasionally radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy have effected long-lasting remissions. It really depends on the stage and grade of the cancer (and how large an area of the esophagus is involved). Consult your oncologist in your particular case. It is important, also, to have this condition diagnosed properly, and treated as early as possible.
What would the most serious risk of radiation treatments for cancer?
Although the benefits may out way the risks, there are many risks associated with radiation treatment for breast cancer. These risks include sore breasts, feeling tired, and lymphedema as a possible long term effect.
What are neuroendocrine tumors?
Neuroendocrine tumor refers to the type of cell that a tumor grows from rather than where that tumor is located. Neuroendocrine cells produce hormones or regulatory proteins, and so tumors of these cells usually have symptoms.
What is the most deadliest form of cancer?
"Krukenberg tumors have only been recorded 30 times in the last 50 years anywhere in the world. Story from the UK daily telegraph"
This answer is not quite true. The Daily Telegraph story relates to the bilateral form of the disease, having it develop in both ovaries not just one. Krukenberg's tumours usually occur in one side.
If x rays can cause cancer why would a woman have a mammogram?
Its rare for a person to get cancer from an x-ray, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I wouldn't take any chances not to check for cancer so women get mammograms just to be safe.
How does smoking affect the lungs and cause cancer?
No! It may add risk but no directly and alone it does not!
Judge doesnt accept statistical studies as proof of LC causation!
It was McTear V Imperial Tobacco. Here is the URL for both my summary and the Judge's 'opinion' (aka 'decision'):

(2.14) Prof Sir Richard Doll, Mr Gareth Davies (CEO of ITL). Prof James Friend and
Prof Gerad Hastings gave oral evidence at a meeting of the Health Committee in
2000. This event was brought up during the present action as putative evidence that
ITL had admitted that smoking caused various diseases. Although this section is quite
long and detailed, I think that we can miss it out. Essentially, for various reasons, Doll
said that ITL admitted it, but Davies said that ITL had only agreed that smoking might
cause diseases, but ITL did not know. ITL did not contest the public health messages.
(2.62) ITL then had the chance to tell the Judge about what it did when the suspicion
arose of a connection between lung cancer and smoking. Researchers had attempted
to cause lung cancer in animals from tobacco smoke, without success. It was right,
therefore, for ITL to 'withhold judgement' as to whether or not tobacco smoke caused
lung cancer.
[9.10] In any event, the pursuer has failed to prove individual causation.
Epidemiology cannot be used to establish causation in any individual case, and the
use of statistics applicable to the general population to determine the likelihood of
causation in an individual is fallacious. Given that there are possible causes of lung
cancer other than cigarette smoking, and given that lung cancer can occur in a nonsmoker,
it is not possible to determine in any individual case whether but for an
individual's cigarette smoking he probably would not have contracted lung cancer
(paras.[6.172] to [6.185]).
[9.11] In any event there was no lack of reasonable care on the part of ITL at any
point at which Mr McTear consumed their products, and the pursuer's negligence
case fails. There is no breach of a duty of care on the part of a manufacturer, if a
consumer of the manufacturer's product is harmed by the product, but the consumer
knew of the product's potential for causing harm prior to consumption of it. The
individual is well enough served if he is given such information as a normally
intelligent person would include in his assessment of how he wishes to conduct his
life, thus putting him in the position of making an informed choice (paras.[7.167] to
[7.181]).
The ranking goes for all cancer deaths/mortality:
Per 100,000 population CDC NUMBERS/ smoking rates from tobacco free kids

Delaware 184 Adults in Delaware who smoke* 21.8% (153,100)
South Carolina 182 Adults in South Carolina who smoke* 23.1% (831,200)
As we can see kentucky has the Highest rate but when we look at the map of kentucky cancer it shows us that its the Coal Mining Mountain region that sets Kentuckys state level Higher than all the rest. When we look at the local county levels they are pretty much in line with the rest of the country. Louisville reports roughly 750 cancer cases in 2010 by the chart yet no mention of out of state cases diagnosed there by the local 5 hospitals and cancer treatment done there by far attracting a higher base rate. Possibly inflating the kentucky numbers for louisville itself.
But even without removing the coal mining regions the rate trends precisely with other states..........

Hello,
I see you are asking."What is servical cancer?
Cervical cancer happens when cells change in women’s cervix, which connects the uterus and vagina. This cancer can affect the deeper tissues of their cervix and may spread to other parts of their body (metastasize), often the lungs, liver, bladder, vagina, and rectum.
Most cases of cervical cancer are caused by infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), which is preventable with a vaccine.
Cervical cancer grows slowly, so there’s usually time to find and treat it before it causes serious problems. It kills fewer and fewer women each year, thanks to improved screening through Pap tests.
Women 35 to 44 years old are most likely to get it. More than 15% of new cases are in women over age 65, however, especially those who haven’t been getting regular screenings.
