In Colorado, any statewide public official can be recalled. Colorado does not require special grounds for the recall of public officials, but in order to petition against a senator a case will need to be made. Usually, when a recall petition is circulated, the Senator will be informed, and it is not unusual for them to respond.

The requirement for a recall petition in the State of Colorado is that it be circulated for 60 days, and needs to collect signatures of 25% of the votes cast in the last Senate election to trigger a recall election. In Colorado the recall election is held simultaneously with the election of a successor. In Colorado, the recall ballot has two parts. The first is a question that asks whether the Senator who the recall petition was filed against should be recalled. The second part consists of a list of candidates who have qualified to run for Senator. The name of the Senator who the recall petition was filed against may not appear on this list of candidates.

Technically, most of Pikes Peak is U.S. Forest Service land. Colorado Springs is very close though....a mere 10 miles from I-25 and Highway 24 in Colorado Springs. Well, technically and sychologically Colorado was a bicameral state but now it is a peculiare transfomation state. This is because there was a low population and a low setting in contreception of the district area. Meaning it wasnt very good. and stuff happened. i dunno tho :/

1. Take SR-17 NORTH on the Santa Cruz Hwy to I-280 EAST to DOWNTOWN SAN JOSE. SR-17 becomes a freeway in San Jose.
2. I-280 becomes I-680 after U.S. 101. Continue STRAIGHT on I-680 NORTH towards SACRAMENTO.
3. Take I-680 NORTH to I-80 EAST to SACRAMENTO at EXIT 71A.
4. Take I-80 EAST all the way across California, Nevada and Utah, through Sacramento, Reno and Salt Lake City, to I-25 SOUTH to DENVER at EXIT 359A.
5. Take I-25 SOUTH to Denver.

The very top of Pikes Peak has a visitor center. You can get to the top by either driving up there or going to the city of Manitou Springs to get on the Cog Railway. On Pikes Peak, sometimes people can see other states that border Colorado. And there's even a small monumental plaque that tells the story of Katherine Lee Bates writing "America the Beautiful" once she visited the top of Pikes Peak.

The town's name was originally Columbia but the Post Office asked that it be changed to avoid confusion with another Columbia, so "Telluride" was chosen in reference to gold telluride minerals that occur in most of Colorado. Interestingly, though, telluride minerals aren't found in the vicinity of Telluride itself!

The second story is that in Wild West days, "to-hell-you-ride" described the difficulties traveling to the area.
