I spoke to my oral surgeon about the crowding in my lower jaw that I believed to be caused by my wisdom teeth. He said that even with the extra space I would receive from the removal of my wisdom teeth, it would be unlikely that my teeth would move back into place. There was mention of being fitted for retainers and going to a different doctor who specialized in orthodontics.

I'm in the finance club in my dental school and we were given a booklet of the average income of new England dentists and specialists. It put pediatric dentists at right around $500,000 net. This is obviously before taxes. If this seems high to you visit a pediatric office, they see 4-5 times more patients than a general dentist. I know of some on the west coast that make $700,000ish. They do work their asses off though!

Thrush is a yeast infection that can occur in the mouth, throat and vagina. Drinking alone does not cause it, but the nutritional deficiencies* that go along with alcohol abuse and alcoholism could certainly contribute to immune deficiency that could allow thrush to develop. Frankly, if you have thrush it would be a good idea to see a doctor about some follow-up tests.
