What are three types of perspective drawings?
One-point perspective is like standing in the middle of your street and looking all the way down until the two sidewalks on either side converge.
Then, there's two point perspective. That's when you are standing on a city street corner, looking caty-corner across the intersection. You will see two streets disappearing into two different directions, into two different "vanishing points."
Thirdly, there is three point perspective. Imagine that you are in the same position as in the second example, but you tilt your "camera" upward, so that you still can see the two disappearing streets, but you also now see the tops of the tall skyscrapers, all bowing toward the same "vanishing point." This also can be illustrated by "shooting down" from a helicopter, the vanishing point now being far beneath the surface of the Earth.
(a four-point perspective isn't really possible, but it is simulated by using a "fish eye" lens)
After leaving her home, for big reasons, Dana struggles to survive in the alleys, squats, and subway stations of downtown Toronto. Dana's graffiti on an underpass catches the eye of a worker at Sketches, which is a drop-in center where homeless teens can express themselves through art, instead of violence. As Dana works on a painting, she begins to confront the reason she left home. The truth of what her stepfather did to her is trying to break free, but will it come out through her paintbrush or the blade of a knife?

What hardness of lead is generally used for freehand sketching?
I keep a 2H, an HB and a 4B pencil in my sketching kit.
The 2H pencil gives me lighter lines, holds its point better and is best to define the side of a figure in full light or the backgrounds of landscapes.
The HB pencil, is readily available, holds a point for a short time, and is used to do light shading, to define central areas of a figure or middle distance of a landscape.
The 4B pencil is of a softer lead, is great for shading and blending, and can be used on its side to give larger strokes of colour.
Orthographic drawing, views have no perspective foreshortening.
It depends on how much you are willing to pay. I have found that a couple of soup cans suitably rinsed out do just fine...and they are free. If you want to go designer, glue twine to the outside and decorate with markers. An old box works well and will provide space for sharpeners and other small tools. Should you decide that you need to spend money, there are several designs in the craft and office supply stores that might fit your needs.
Will graphite cause lead poisoning?
No, it cannot.
Graphite is just carbon, which is an essential component of life itself. There is no known illness or notable harm caused by ingesting small amount of carbon. Just as it was mentioned above that charcoal is sometimes used to absorb some poisons that may have gotten into your stomach, charcoal caplets are also used to treat indigestion by absorbing some of the fats that are making your feel sick.

You need two pipe cleaners, preferably different colors. You cut each of them in half. Let's say your two pipecleaners were red and blue. You are going to coil a red half and then attatch it to a blue half and you will have a flower. You do the same thing with the other two and then you have two flowers.

How draw objects properly in perspective?
First, draw your horizon line across the top of the page. Mark two vanishing points, as far apart as possible. Draw a short vertical line for the front corner of your box and then draw a construction line from the top and bottom of the line, to each vanishing point. Next draw a vertical line to the left of your 'front corner', between the top and bottom construction lines. From the top and bottom points of this line, draw construction lines back to the RIGHT vanishing point (VP2). Next, draw a similar vertical line to the right of your 'front corner', and from the top and bottom points of this line, draw construction lines back to the LEFT vanishing point (VP1). Where the top construction lines intersect, drop a vertical line to the intersection of the bottom construction lines - this will give you the back corner of the box. Erase the construction lines and any interior lines. A helpful website I have found regarding two point perspective: http://drawsketch.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://mathforum.org/workshops/sum98/participants/sanders/TryPersp.gsp.html
A fineliner (one word) is a pen with a felt tip, almost like a felt tip marker but smoother and more precise. in the case of Montblanc pens, they are also spring loaded to prevent damage to the nip.
Why is there a number and a word on a pencil?
Numbers and letters on the sides of some pencils (Art & Drafting pencils) is used to signify the type of lead that it contains, or more specifically the hardness of that lead. The higher the number/letter combination, the harder the lead. Conversely, the lower the number/letter combination, the softer the lead. The typical pencil (#2 pencil) contains HB Grade lead. PencilPages.com notes (from The Pencil Hardness Test); "The hardest is a 9H, followed by 8H, 7H, 6H, 5H, 4H, 3H, 2H, and H. F is the middle of the hardness scale; then comes HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B, 8B, and 9B, which is the softest. Another grading method uses numbers; the equivalents would be #1=B, #2=HB, #2-1/2=F, #3=H, and #4=2H." The H represents hardness and the B represents blackness.
The quick answer to this is that you only need a surface to draw on and an instrument made of some kind of material that will mark on said surface. To practice my drawing, I have drawn in sand, dirt, on sidewalks, walls and fences, etc... To mark on these, I have used sticks, chalk, soft rocks (similar to chalks) charcoal, pencils, dry-rotting wood, pens and many other instruments. As long as I could hold the drawing intrument at an angle I could work at against the surface I was going to practice on-HEY! go for it. For a drawing that will be kept for any amount of time, look at what you have, and how much you will need to shade, erase, how much contrast you want and so on. I have given pen and ink drawings on end-rolls of news sheeting, plain old typing paper, and fancy art paper. I have also used pencils, charcoals, pastels, colored pencils, pens of black and colored inks, markers, and somethings I can't really recall now. You can get as fancy or as simple as you wish, so start small. I recommend some good graphite (school) pencils, one charcoal, a couple good erasers (if you don't erase, these make great shadowing and smudging tools) and some paper of a slightly rougher texture than typing, then go for it. A good, small pad of sketching paper should only put you back about $5. If that's too much for now. Stay with the graphite pencils, erasers and plain typing paper. And the best teacher is simple practice, practice and more practice. Get going and good luck!
All of the above is just what I would have said... here is the list of what I carry at all times.
My basic drawing kit has 6 pencils, one each 4b, 2b, 2h & 4h and two hb. one good eraser, and eraser shield, two sizes of blending stub, a pencil sharpener that stays in a container for the shavings. A 2 inch square of white felt (for blending). Wet wipes. a compass (for drawing circles, a straight edge, a pair of polarised sunglasses and a portable sketch book. All of which I keep with me in a handy carry all.
In a pinch, a piece of paper and a pencil will do, all the rest just makes things easier.
