I would tell them that you have to get to know her first and that she may have flaws, but nobody is perfect. She makes mistakes and so do you, so why are you talking about her, we don't talk about you and the mistakes you make. And then i would ditch them and not talk to them until they got to know her better and didn't judge her for making mistakes.
