Go to your doctor and let him/her take a look. It may be nothing serious but the sooner it is identified the sooner it can be treated. Do not let it go untreated as it is very unlikely to magically get better all by itself and the sooner it is treated the sooner it will clear up.
Dog has rash around mouth and nose what can put on it?
My dog recently had one of these and when we asked about it, we were told to just watch it to make sure that it didn't spread to her entire face. After about a week, it's starting to heal and go away on it's own. I'm not convinced it was a rash, but it looked more like sores all over her top lip. She kept licking it too, which worried me, but it looks like it's getting much much better. If it does spread, I was told that we would have to put her on antibiotics.

My son had something very similar to this when he was about three. We think it came from his chickenpox vaccination. The rash was little red bumps with white heads that changed into a blister like rash. The doctor said it was shingles. Usually the only way to get shingles is to have chickenpox, but my son never had chicken pox. The only thing is that shingles in toddlers is virtually painless while in adults it is very painful and can last a long time. You should probably go to your doctor to make sure and keep him away from anyone who hasn't yet had the chicken pox. Good luck to you!

How do you get rid of a stinging nettle rash?
I grabbed onto a stinging nettle plant today and tugged (thought it was just a weed and I like to think I'm tough since I can pull most prickly weeds out without much injury) then the immediate burning started. Upon looking up photos of stinging nettles online I confirmed this is what it was. I rushed into the house and washed it with soap and water. Then applied some Benadryl cream. I had already taken a Claritin (allergy seasion) and if it's not completely gone at bedtime I'll take a Benadryl. If it wasn't already much much more bearable I would have taken a Benadryl right away for the antihistamine effect, but it appears despite my being highly allergic to a lot of plants others aren't allergic to, I got lucky and seem to have removed most of the poison quickly. I just have maybe 10 bumps on my fingers/palms where I grabbed the plant.

Specifically, the plant in question (Asparagusspp) has inedible berries which may provoke abdominal pains, diarrhea, upset stomach and vomiting in those who react to the fern's body parts. The foliage sports needle-like branchlets in the nodes and spines in branch axils. A poison oak-like reaction will require medical attention.
