The most venomous snake on earth is the Belcher's Sea Snake (Hydrophis Belcheri) or the Faint Banded Sea Snake, some consider the Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus) an/or the Beaked Sea Snake (Enhydrina schistosa) to be the most toxic, however, with recent and more accurate (LD-5-) studies as of 2010 prove the Belcheri has a 100 times more toxic venom then the two above or any other snake on earth.
It has a paddle-like tail, breathes air and can hold it's breath up to 8 hours, it's size ranges from 1-1/2 ft (0.5m) to 3 ft (1 m), a few milligrams of venom can kill over a thousand people.
It's habitat has a wide range in the South Pacific.

The common name for snakes that kill by that method is - constrictors. This does not, however just apply to the Boa Constrictor species. There are many snakes that use this method to subdue their prey.

When a snake sheds its skin, you will first see little flakes of it come off, when you see this make the surroundings slightly more humid and give your snake fresh water daily and a place to hide. Then eventually, the snake will rub its skin off on rocks or anything else it can find, then the skin should come off in one whole piece. If not then your snake might not be so healthy...hope this helped XD
Can a wild badger kill a snake?
For the American or European badger you are dealing with 20 kg (40 lb) of really tough critter, mostly muscle and with big teeth and sharp claws. Think of a really tough nearly wild dog for a comparative animal. They will eat anything more or less their size or smaller.
Is a baby snake just as poisonous as an adult snake?
The answer to this commonly asked question is NO. Now don't mistake this answer as saying they are not dangerous, because they most certainly are. Baby rattlesnakes are born with venom and fangs in-tact, and can deliver a life threatening bite. Now were this idea probably comes from, is because baby rattlesnakes are more likely to bite than most adult rattlesnakes. This is due to the fact that they are small and therefore more vunerable to falling prey to a larger animal. Also, as babies, they are more likely to deliver a full dose of venom, whereas an older rattlesnake may only deliver a small portion, or even no venom at all (refered to as a dry bite) for defensive purposes.
In escence, there is a higher probability of receiving a bad bite from a baby vs. an adult. You can figure that 99% of bites from babies will result in envenomation compared to maybe 85% of adult bites.
However, a bite from an adult rattlesnake can be far more dangerous having a much greater venom yield than a baby, easily 10 times as much or more.
Of course, there are many variables to consider including venom toxicity, venom yield, temperments, and locations as to the danger of various rattlesnakes. But ALL rattlesnake bites are to be considered a life threatening medical emergency. Don't wait to see if maybe you got lucky and received a dry bite. Seek medical attention immediately with any rattlesnake bite as the sooner you begin treatment, the better your chances of surviving and minimizing long term complications.
Why is a eastern indigo snake endangered?
The Indigo snake is one of the very very few snakes that have a wide variety of what they eat. In their diet they can consume venemous snakes. They have a large appetite for the diamond back rattle snake, this helps keep the population in check.
How many species of poisonous snake are in America?
There is a very poisonous lizard called the gilla monster.
I posted the wikipedia artice on the gilla monster in the related links box below.
first of all, its not poisonous, its venomous, there's a difference. Second, a Gila monster is not that venomous. its not fatal to humans. they are dangerous because they have very sharp teeth and they don't let go when they bite, causing major blood loss. the second and only other species of venomous lizard is the Mexican beaded lizard.

How do you keep a diamondback rattlesnake from attacking you?
With all snakes, the best way to avoid attack is to leave them completely alone.
Never try to catch one; never chase one; never try to hurt one. A snake will defend itself in the only way it is able: by biting.
Constrictors such as pythons will constrict prey in order to kill or disable it, but they will also bite if threatened. Non-venomous animals can still inflict a bite which can easily become infected, sometimes with disastrous results.
Wear proper clothing in areas which are inhabited by snakes, including boots. Usually a snake will hear you coming, or more properly, feel the vibrations of the approach of something large, and will head for cover or at least head away from you.
During the hibernation season you can be at risk of stepping on a sleeping snake, though they usually choose reasonably safe places to hibernate.
Just remember, the vast majority of snakebites occur when someone foolishly attempts to catch or kill a snake.
Which is longer a boa or an anaconda?
Anacondas are members of the Boidae family of reptiles, in terms of length the anaconda is second to the python.
General information!
Anacondas Scientific classification.
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Subphylum: Vertebrata
Class: Reptilia
Order: Squamata
Suborder: Serpentes
Family: Boidae
Subfamily: Boinae
Genus: Eunectes
The question what is the biggest snake can be confusing, the biggest as far as girth (largest being measured at 44 inches or 1,1176 m) is the Green Anaconda, on average anacondas are more then 20 ft (6.09 m) long with and average weight of 300+ pounds (136.08+ kg) many reaching lengths of 29ft ( 8.83 m) or more, with a weight of over 550 lbs ( 249.48 kg), in terms of length then and only then will the Reticulated Python exceed the anaconda, the longest python was measured at 33 ft ( 10.05 m) but even this python can't match the total mass of the anaconda.
Anacondas are members of the Boidae family of reptiles and spend most of their time in rivers and swamps of the Amazon Rainforest in South America which makes them excellent swimmers and are capable of holding their breath for around 15 minutes, female anacondas are generally 3 to 4 times larger then the males and bear their young live and are called "Neonates", the number of young varies, some have produced 100 babies, but the average is between 20 to 40 babies which are about 24 inches (0.6 m) long, they stay with the mother for about and hour then leave to be on their own. Diet consist of (depending on the size of the anaconda, the larger the snake the larger the prey) large/small rodents like capybaras, also pigs, caiman, jaguars, deer, dogs, birds even fish and is acquired by ambushing with a quick strike, 100 rear-facing sharp teethhold the prey while suffocating it with constriction, (the anaconda is so powerful it generally crushes it's prey) then swallowing it whole and by using it's muscles in a rhythmic fashion it works the food toward its digestive area, the digestion of the anaconda is very slow thereby allowing it to survive without food for well over a year.
Anacondas have around a 10 to 12 year year life span in the wild, in captivity some have reached 20 + years, the biggest threat to it is man and loss of their habitat.
How do you power feed your snake?
yes
Pampiress-
I power feed my snakes. I have a 3 foot Ball Python, a 5 foot Ball Python, and a 12 foot Burmese Python. With our two Balls, we feed once a month usually (unless cash flow lets us feed weekly) and they do fine with it. We feed the 3 foot either 4 small white mice or one medium rat. The 5 foot, we feed her either 6 small whites or two medium rats. Our 12 foot, we feed either 5 extra large rats or three rabbits. Although it is safe to power feed a Burmese, it is not advisable. They will go into a feeding frenzy. They will eat as long as you are putting food in with them. They will over gorge themselves, for they have no stopping sense when it comes to eating. They will eat even if they are not hungry.
If you mean like, "did they all attack towns" then no. They hate, however, human presence, and will most likely attack humans on sight, unless the human is a freind, which is rare, or if the human can overpower the dragon, which is very rare.
Do snake heads breathe underwater?
Sea snakes have lungs, not gills. They hold their breath - which they're very good at - when they dive.
While being similar in shape, eels are a different story. They have gills, just like fish.
Can a 410 shoutgun kill a snake?
This depends on what deer you are hunting. If you are hunting for your first deer then yes, it can kill any small or medium sized deer such as a 4 point on down within less than 50 yards, maybe less than that. You do not have alot of range, but it can kill a smaller sized deer. If you want to kill a trophy buck, you are going to need a 12 gauge.
What are black mambas eaten by?
Black Mamba's are ambush & stealth hunters. Once they bite their prey, there is no escape. The venom kills its prey swiftly. Their usual prey includes birds and small mammals like hyraxes, rodents like rats, bats, small chicken, bushbabies etc. They are even known to eat other snakes like the Puff Adder or the Cape Cobra. Once the prey is dead, they swallow them whole. Mamba's have no predators that are known to kill or eat the snake.
Actually, yes, there are some snakes who eats crickets. There are many snake breeds who are too small to even eat pinkie mice, so crickets are another good way for snakes to get nourishment and not starve.
A few of these snakes include:
Green Whip Snakes (Who also eat other small insects)
Several species of Shovel Nose Snakes
Green Grass Snakes
As well as Northern Brown Snakes, but I do not know if they can be have as pets.
