This is still applicable when the corner throws the towel. The towel is tossed in as an indication that the trainer does not think his fighter can continue therefore the ref will usually stop the bout at this point. This is not necessarily always the case however, if the ref believes that the fighter can continue, he can (and i have seen this happen first hand) have the bout continue. It is the ref's decision, just becasue the towel goes in does not mean the fight is over, the ref can either stop the fight or throw the towel back!!

He also has other costumes of mass salvation such scarlet spider, 2099, the symbiote (capable of killing), noir (basically batman styled spiderman), and most of all, a freaking spider armour costume like ironman's.

The reason the Superman in the Christopher Reeve movies is so powerful, is because that set of movies was made in between 1978, and 1985, when the comic book Superman still had his Silver Age power levels. In other words the movie Superman is way more powerful than the current comic book version, because its two different versions of the same character. The one in the Superman Returns disaster, for example, he's the Silver Age one. The one in the "Doomsday" cartoon movie is the current one. The Silver Age superman, yes, many, many times, and often by simply flying through them at ridiculous speeds. Once he destroyed an entire uninhabited star system fighting a bad guy, including the star itself. The current Superman though can't do that, so the answer is no, if that is the one you are referring to. His villanous alternate earth counterpart though, Superman Prime, a dangerous deranged psychopath, has not just blown up planets, he's destroyed entire universes.
