How was the Tet Offensive both a victory and a defeat for the US?

The Tet offensive was military a massive failure by the Vietcong in which they achieved no strategic success and lost a large number of fighters. However, it was terrible for the american army morale, who had been frequently told that they were winning and the North Vietnamese were on the brink of collapse, which was clearly not the case based on the size and penetration of the Tet Offensive showed this was untrue, and it also showed that many South Vietnamese were supporting the Vietcong and not the Americans, which again damaged morale. The same sort of thing happened to the US public, which made the Vietnam War slowly become a huge public discussion, and a political liability to the government which supported the war that the American public collectively believed could not be won.

For a military historian the Tet Offensive was an American victory, for the wider historian it was the beginning of the end of America's admitting defeat in Vietnam.

When does Vietnam students go to school?

They start school (about) at the end of August, ends at beginning of June.

They go to school 6 days a week ( Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri, and Sat)

Most students study for about 9-10 hours a day ( 7AM-5PM ) and extra classes ( ex: Musical classes, cooking, English, karate, dance, draw... )

But sometimes, there are students only go to school for 5-6 hours ( 7AM - 12PM or 12PM - 5PM) and of course.. there are extra classes

Unfortunately, every students must go to Summer class in July during summer break so there's not a lot of time for vacations since after that, they have to get ready for a new school year.

They dont have holidays in Vietnam except for New Year, so education is really important there.

Are Vietnamese men circumcised?

No China does not circumcise, except for the Muslim minority and I am not sure they still do under communism. The vast majority of males on the planet are not circumcised. Since the complication rate from circumcision more than wipes out the much-disputed possible benefits and the foreskin has specific sexual function and sensitivity that is lost to circumcision; the procedure cannot be justified on any medical grounds.
