Are there any LEGOs exclusive to Walmart?
No. The only stores that sell exclusive Legos are the Lego specialty retail stores.
Walmart is a big corporation. It exists to make as much money as possible. You can bet that in some way, direct, or indirect, they would only close a department for financial reasons. I do not know the specifics at Walmart, but here are some guesses as to why they would close the craft and sewing department:
a) it is not making money
b) they can use the same space in some other way to make more money
c) it's expensive or hard to find the right workers
d) the department is profitable in some cities and not in others, and it's cheaper to run all the stores in the same way
e) they are choosing not to compete (with Joann's etc.) for some reason

Is staples target or Walmart better to shop for school supplies?
its really walmart because when it starts getting close to start school walmart has the better supplies to shop for and have cheaper supplies but if u think its target go ahead but in my opinion walmart is best for people to shop for supplies
How does Walmart keep their prices so low?
Wal-Mart buys products from cheap manufacturers, then resells them. The manufacturer's keep their prices low through mass production. Its easy to make millions of one product, so they can sell them cheaper.
Also, Wal-Mart has a lot of customers. If Wal-Mart makes 1 cent profit from an item, and 100 people buy it, that's 1 dollar of profit. In contrast, if Bill's Fruit Mart has the same item, but only one person buys it, Bill would have to charge one dollar more than Walmart.
Basically, cheap products makes cheap prices, but the fact that a lot of people buy from Wal-Mart allows them to have even cheaper prices.
What really happens is half of the Walmart's products are direct vendor controlled, so the vendors determine the price. Since they only rent shelf space, they don't have too much overhead for all those locations. For example, Pepsi supports the manufacturing plant, but they don't have to pay for everything at all the stores it sells in, so it can keep the price fairly low.
Walmart buys most of the rest of the products fairly cheap through overseas manufacturing or consignment sales. They order so much volume that buying in bulk gets it cheaper, but what they don't sell they send back.
The few products that are left are quality high end items that they have to pay a higher price for, but they charge what all the other higher end stores charge for it.

You can reapply anywhere you have not signed a contract restricting. You may not get the job, but I'd probably clearly explain why you turned it down then, and why you're reapplying now. If they thought you were a good candidate once, it may be true again.

What are the types of retailers?
retailers, wholesalers, specialty and liquidators..
retailers sell at retail price, such as wal mart, k mart, sears, etc.. gas stations also fall under this category mostly.
wholesalers buy in bulk and sell in bulk at a little over bulk prices, sam's club costco and bj's are examples.
specialty are higher end shops that sell limited selections at higher prices with usually better quality.. boutiques, cabinet and flooring makers, and stores like pier 1 fall into this category.
liquidators buy stores overstock and deleted inventory. Big Lots, Ross, Overstock.com Marshalls are these types of retailers.
then I suppose there are also the charity stores.. Goodwill, Value Village and such would fall into these categories. they take people's donations and sell them at inexpensive prices.

Yes, Dell computer notebooks are available in Walmart. In fact, Walmart is one the cheapest places to buy these notebook computers. Right now, Walmart is even having a sale, where you can buy a select Dell notebook for as little as $248.
Does Walmart offer a military discount?
No. We were in Wal-Mart this weekend with our son who is in the Navy. The checker did not know the answer, so she called management to ask. No reason was given, nor did the the manager offer an apology.

Being Ex-Military myself I understand your frustration but I also understand that Wal-mart's prices are already very low anyway. Many products that Walmart carries are also available at Home Depot, and they do have a very generous military discount, but for some reason they do not advertise it.
