It's from the irritation of the panties rubbing against that area. I have found (personally) that using a body wash with sacyllic acid (the same medicine found in acne pads you use on your face) helps enormously. We use Phisoderm. You can get 3 bottles for about 20$ on Amazon. com.
I have also found that alternating different types of panties helps: IE 1 day boy shorts, 1 day bikini line, 1 day thong, etc. etc. Not having them rub the same area over and over religiously will help reduce the irritations and I have found reduce the number of ingrown hairs (aka the common type of acne that occurs there).
I have also found (before finding the phisoderm) that putting ice on it for 10 minutes reduces the swelling then you can put lemon juice on it for a few minute and rinse it off. You need to additionally have excellent hygiene in that area... Good luck

Go with the wave if you just get some mild pimples or you have rough or dry skin. If you use the wave, you should put moisturizer on after you use it. Proactiv is really more serious and for more sever acne so it's really which ever severity you have.

I'm a retired makeup artist and would be happy to help you.........If you have oily, acne-prone skin, you really should be wearing NO makeup of any kind; just lip color, eye shadow, & mascara.....MAYBE blush but that's another story.
The reason I say this is because NO makeup, even mineral, will do what you want until you get the oily/acne thing under control, or at least as much as you can.

Mainly look for supplements that do not contain any form of vitamin A. I prefer natural supplements as opposed to doctor prescribed stuff. I play hockey. I've had knee surgery, been prescribed several different things, but found that the side effects weren't worth the minor decrease in pain. I use a natural supplement called Movexa made by a company called vitamin boat. I found this supplement after trying several different GNC and vitamin shoppe supplements. It's cheaper and worked much better for me. I take it in addition to Accutane and have been taking it since February 2012. There's nothing negative I can say about mixing the 2 thus far.
