ok first dont panic now you might want to put some of that butterfly tape on it if not just let it scab over and put some neosporin on it. Just because it lookes like you took out a big chunk out doesnt mean there will be a scar the worst thing you can do at this point is taking the scab off before it is healed that will cause a scar.

it makes no difference whatsoever. Got blackheads and a nose piercing and they cope together just fine

I only used it for 1 or 2 days and ended up with a angry rash. I don't know whether I just have really sensitive skin or not, but I wouldn't use it again. I've had the rash for 2 weeks now and it won't go away. I'm interested to hear other people's experiences...

well hnestly i quit using retin a bc it hurt my skin so bad- i ended up trying to use t on body and chest acne and ending up giving myself these horrible looking painful red peeling rashes- altogether i recommend stop using any zit "medications" they overdry your skin- which causes your body to produce nore oil- and don't trust dermatoligists either- if they clear your skin up- how would threy ever stay in buisness- ppl would go once and never return right?

this is my opinion- so far i havent found too much that helps with them- but then im not deserate enough to resort to fasting on fresh fruits and veg to rule the food caffione sugar thing out- sur ei eat healthier than normal but its not trealy making an effectr- i think touching your face akes them worser- i research this crap online all the time- but i was just now and came across this retina post and just wanted to say-= put down the retin a- that stuff doesnt work- and it makes it painful to even swaet or apply makeup to your face- i have also tried differ duoc and benzaclin- "dead sea" salt and all the above- nothing works!!!!

My son had something very similar to this when he was about three. We think it came from his chickenpox vaccination. The rash was little red bumps with white heads that changed into a blister like rash. The doctor said it was shingles. Usually the only way to get shingles is to have chickenpox, but my son never had chicken pox. The only thing is that shingles in toddlers is virtually painless while in adults it is very painful and can last a long time. You should probably go to your doctor to make sure and keep him away from anyone who hasn't yet had the chicken pox. Good luck to you!

I was on Depo Provera about 12 years ago and it really changed my skin. I think up until I started getting it I had maybe 2 pimples my entire life and then after I was on it for 2 years my face just constanly was breaking out. I used to get a lot of cystic acne too and even after I got off it my face never got much better until about 2 years ago. I still get breakouts though before my TOM and I use benzaclin every single day. If I were you I would try to find another type of birth control. My face really only got better when I stopped being on any type of hormonal birth control.

All it would do is make your skin really dry so you don't want to have the cream all over your face just put it on the dots of acne and you would have to put it all over your face if you had a giant acne on your face hehheheh :) <3 happy to help!

I had the same thing, they were huge and I thought they were cists or tumors or something of that nature. I noticed them in the shower while soaping up. They last for more than a month and sometimes both armpits had multiples of them and each one HURT! They show up maybe every 6 months or so. Went to the doctor and she said they are simply a large pimple from clogged pores. She gently rolled each one between her fingers and worked a ton of puss out of each one. They immediately felt better! Now I just squeeze them out myself when I get them...you've never seen more white puss come out of a pimple in your life! Pretty cool actually LOL.

Your question deosnt make sense, but I will try to answer it anyway. Proactive casued me to have scars all over my face. It was the worst experience ever. Proactive people told me to keep using it and eventually things would get better....After a month they never did...just kept getting worse. It left scars and made my face 10 worse than it had ever been. I went from trying to get rid of 1 -2 pimples, to trying to get rid of 100 pimples and scars and sores on my face.

After proactive my skin wasnt healthy at all...so instead of trying to fight acne at this point I decided to find something to make my skin healthy and get rid of the sores and scars.

So I turned to straight Isopro 70% alcohol and "Meaning Beauty" by Cindy Crawford...twice a day......it's a skin care treatment to preserve the skin from getting older ect.

And now my skin is healthy and happy....no scars, no pimples, no sores.

I will never forgive Proactive for causing so much pain and problems for me.

I think this person means, "Is proactive for scars."

There is one solution that is for the scar part.

Different people have different skin-types and different skin product work better and differently on those different people. Ya, that's a crazily long sentence. :) I just would just advise experimenting with different products until you find the one that is right for you.

It doesn't "work" over night because it takes a few applications to make a huge change in the appearance and feel of your skin. You should use it two to three times a week all over your face. Put it on when your face is slightly wet and leave it on for ten or fifteen minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. I would say after about a week your pores would be clear. (If you use it too frequently all over your skin can become too dried out.)

On the other hand, if you use the refining mask as a spot-treatment (i.e. put it right on a blemish or zit particularly) over night I have usually found that the pimple is considerably smaller (dried-out) and less painful the next day. However it depends upon the type of blemish you want to use it on; for example, with zits and very swollen pimples that need to be drained, it is very effective, but for blackheads and whiteheads which contain no pus, using it as a full-face treatment is more beneficial but takes more time.
