How does a car's front end shimmy at a complete stop? Shimmies only happen with the car moving. Need more specific information in the question.

i have a 97 acura 3.0 cl and just recently got an oil change and the maintenance required light switched from green to yellow, what does this mean?

The risks of driving with bad motor mounts can be high. if the mounts have completely separated, then the motor is free to move at will. The motor could puncture the radiator or damage other components.

Acura - 2006 RL - The filter "box" links obviously to the air intake hose into the manifold/engine. It takes a few minutes but once you get all 4 screws out of the box "lid", you'll be able to pull the filter out. I put a new K&N in there and think it's a nice change. I couldn't see through my old paper style filter and that means less airflow/lower efficiency and power. One thing - don't take out the larger (10 mm head) screw that holds the box to the car frame - just remove the (qty 4) 8 mm head screws (also have Phillips slots but they'll strip easy - use the socket!) and you'll be all set. I also loosened the band clamp on the air hose to the engine and it made it easier to manipulate the box to get to the filter. I'd recommend a permanent filter like the K&N - $47 and no more replacements @ $30 each. Good luck! - Ken ATL

your oil pump is located behind the lower timing cover. to replace you will have to drop oil pan pull crank gear off and then lower timing cover

The RPM gauge is connected to the same wiring on as all the lights on the dashboard. A faulty RPM gauge can be replaced but requires removing the whole dash from the vehicle.

There are plugs on right side. Insert ratchet and fill to level off with top plug. Then START the car. While running engine(car on jackstands) top up ontil full to filler hole on SIDE of transaxle.
