To change transmission fluid on a Acura 3.2 TL you must first check the existing fluid level when the transmission is hot which takes 15 to 20 minutes of driving. Next you will need to dip the dipstick in the transmission fluid to check the level which should be between the third and second level of the dipstick. Use a funnel to add transmission fluid if necessary. Next start the engine and shift into each position and then apply the parking break and turn the engine off. Recheck the transmission fluid and add more if necessary.

I did a lot of searching, and found 2 bulbs (Supervision) for 9.95 plus shipping. I installed one of them yesterday, after downloading pretty good instructions from

an acura technician , I think on this site. ( I have to find him and send him $15 bucks!) He had line drawings, and missed only that you need a torx # 8 tamper proof wrench to take the retaining screw out. Apparently, someone on the internet used needle nose pliers, which I suppose would also work.

I just had the same problem this week drivers manual claims it might be a loose gas cap mine was ok. I topped up my antifreeze as I recently had changed the water pump and the level was a bit low I also filled the fuel tand and the check engine light went off. Good luck

Before replacing the headlight bulbs on a 1997 Acura CL prop the hood open. Locate the headlight housing and remove the old bulbs. Install the new lights.

you have to Call Honda and give them the Serial No. which is located on top of the device and they will give you the code.

The are adjustment screws next to the headlight housings. To adjust the headlights either loosen or tight the screws. This will either raise or lower the headlight unit.

you have to take everything off...bearings, pins, bolts, EVERYTHING, starting from the center of it all. The last thing to take off is the rotor. Buy some bearing grease. You may as well repack your bearings. Also, check your cv boots. You may have to replace them too. If so, you may as well replace now while everything is off or your gonna have to do it all over again.

Had mine cleaned out yesterday by a friend who works on engines for a living. Located on left rear of engine just below the big aluminum part on top of engine. Near the front firewall. Has two hose-like attachments - one just pull off and shove on and one with a fancy clamp-like attachment. Then held on by two hard to get at nuts (mine need a squirt of juice to break loose from rust). ABSOLUTELY HAVE MAGNETIC WAND TO KEEP THE NUTS FROM FALLING WHO KNOWS WHERE! Will need new gasket (Advance Auto Parts - $2.25). Old one hard to remove! Burnish gasket surface. Clean out orifice (knife, screwdriver, or wire brush, or all three) and blow clean with compressed air. A little spritz of WD-40 or the like and make sure it works freely. Blow out part on engine where EGR valve attaches. Reassemble, being sure not to drop the nuts! This is the DIY way. Or, you can take it to an auto repair place (Huffy said they would do it for about $40). DISCLAIMER: I am not an auto expert and take no responsibility for your effort. I am really not sure but I thought I had to this evening. I purchased a new fuel pump from advanced auto parts for $133.00 and the screen for an additional 18.00. I knew the fuel filter was completely clogged so I changed it, still nothing. The main relay assembly which is under the driver's side dash, left side wall, turned out to be the problem. Apparently as the fuel filter clogs the pump runs harder to keep the required fuel pressure. This also requires more current, without blowing the 10 amp fuse, it heats up the relay board, there was a cold solder joint on the number 2 relay which drives the pump. The overall repair turned out to be 18.50 for the filter, 2 hours of highly evolved 4 letter words, and an hour of reassembly of the undercarriage still not knowing how to drop the fuel tank, I summise there are hidden bolts that hold the fuel tank but I do not have a clue where they are located. I'm guessing somewhere between the front and back bumpers. Under the back seat, tried that, in the trunk - tried that. Maybe once I dropped the tank cover and the two straps I could have used a larger hammer. Or maybe a large Sumo wrestler to yank it down????? Good luck.
