i currently take 1 60 mg cymbalta once daily in morning with breakfast and 1 10 mg flexeril (3x daily) spread throughout the day. i am also under a physicians care. so id say short term yes, idk about long term. talk to your doctor

If taken orally, absorption increases with GI tract pH. So, consuming alkaline foods or chemicals will increase Adderall's absorption into systemic circulation. I would try eating some baking soda or calcium carbonate (Tums, Rolaids) 40-80 minutes before ingesting Adderall.

Caffine can also potentiate the effects of the drug, due to both caffeine's mechanism of action and the fact that both caffeine and amphetamine are metabolized by the same CYP iso-enzyme in the liver. However, caffeine's diuretic effect could potentially increase the excretion of the Adderall, soI usually just eat like 4 tums 40-80 minutes before I eat any Adderall and I find that it potentiates its effects.

It is my understanding that any extended release drug should not be split or altered in any way as it automatically negates the time release effects and may release more or less of the drug into your system.

On the other hand I take 10 milligrams of the generic Adderoll and split it down the scored line and have had no problems. It is not time released though which is why I split it because it wears off at the start of my day.

I'd say its fine, you'll notice alcohol like adderall changes your psychological perception or temporarily elevates your mood. So mixing the two irresponsibly simply makes you feel very drunk/abnoxious and very energetic. Eventually leading to abnormal or uncontrolled behavior, especially when coming down from one or the other compounds, you will get very aggressive, angry, and perhaps say things you will wish you hadn't said. I was tested and in the top 1% of worse case ADHD in adults though - so it makes sense it's helping me so much.

To say the least it's worth trying them together with doctors consent - if you are taking the citalopram for the similar reasons as I. People often have the misunderstanding that "blood test" is a universal term. Untrue. There are many different types of blood tests, each given for a specific reason or reasons. With that said, the medication "Soma" can be seen on a blood test only IF it is looked for. In other words, if you are going in for a standard cbc / blood test...they will not be looking for "Soma" and therefore it will not show up. If however you are taking a blood test to look for "Soma" or its metabolite (meprobamate), then YES the test will indeed be positive for the presence of the drug.
