What do you mean artificial? Rain forrests are real. You can actaually see them, feel them. They exist, so they can't be fake. I think that, by "artificial", the question poster meant "man-made", as opposed to natural, rather than "fake" as opposed to real. In that vein... Though we have always thought of them as natural, there is now some archaeological evidence to suggest that they were, in fact, originally planted by the native South American Indians. Which would make them man-made, and, by the question poster's intent, ARTIFICIAL.

Amazons were (possibly mythical) warrior women, who are described in the Iliad as "antianeirai", meaning: those who go to war like men. They were also described by Herodotus as "androktones", killers of males. They were said to worship Artemis the virgin goddess of the hunt, and Ares the god of war. As to how they multiplied, some say the Amazons met with men from nearby societies, and chose suitable partners would take into the darkness of the forest and couple with. If they gave birth to a male, they were said to kill, blind or cripple the infant. If they kept them alive they would then use them when they grew into young men (if they were suitable) as a supply of male seed. They also took men prisoner in battle, after choosing the most handsome they then used them for their sexual pleasure, and would either kill them or use them as slaves once their usefulness had been expended. Types of flies in the Amazon rainforest?
One type of fly that lives in the Amazon Rain forest is a bog fly. Bog flies live in very damp and humid forests. They're well-known for their larva. A bog fly will lay its eggs on a leaf, wait for it to hatch. When a mosquito lands, the larva quickly climb aboard and are carried to a host. The larva will then mount the next living thing the mosquito lands on. The larva burrow in to the host's flesh and come up every so often to breathe. After the larva has burrowed, it is very difficult to remove due to the small hooks on the side of the body used to grip flesh and pull the small bug through the body of its host. Eventually, the fly leaves after reaching adulthood but the process is very painful for anything that undergoes it. If you want to know more, I recommend watching Monsters Inside Me on Animal Planet.

How is Amazon rainforest formed?
The Amazon Basin was formed 500 million years ago when Ancient Gondwanaland was broken up due the tectonic action between the Nazca Plate and the South American Plate. Sediment eroded from Gondwanaland brought by rivers flowing west, and being deposited where the Amazon Basin currently exists. 200 million years ago the convections currents forced the denser Nazca Plate to subduct underneath the lighter South American Plate causing previous sediments to be pushed upwards and form Fold Mountains such as the Andes, which are up to 6000m high. 1 million years ago high rainfall resulted in many rivers, (over 1000 tributaries) which eroded the soft rock of the Andes. The River was forced to change directions and flow into the Atlantic Ocean rather than the Pacific Ocean. This caused the rivers to deposit sediments on the flatter Basin and built up the flood plain. Over time the rivers have built up the basin, making it shallower and flatter. Today there is only a 100m-drop from the edge of the Andes foothills to the Amazon River Mouth.
