Who wrote ancient greek comedies?
Why ancient Greek comedians of course! buh-dump psh!
Actually it is that simple, unless you want names. If so, Aristophanes and Menander are pretty good. However, this is largely pretty mature stuff. Aristophanes wrote a play telling how the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta ended, the women of Greece collectively withheld sex from their husbands (even the prostitutes stopped, and that was a pretty heavy business since most men didn't marry until their late 20s, thirties). Some of Aristophanes' stuff was so raunchy that it wasn't properly translated for a while. Naturally, I highly recommend Aristophanes.

Why is the government during the age of Percicles referred to direct democracy?
The citizens (adult males) met in assembly fortnightly and discussed and voted on laws and the conduct of the state, the council carried out the directions of the assembly between meetings. In that way, they were the government.
An indirect democracy is where people elect representatives to a parliament, and the parliament makes the decisions, which are not necessarily what the people wanted.
A direct democracy was possible with a city-state where the citizens lived close enough to attend the assemblies. Elected representative democracy is unavoidable where the distance preclude this, however fast-growing communications efficiency will offer the ability to install direct democracy, however this will be strongly resisted by today's politicians who will not want to give up perks and power, just as it was resisted in ancient Greece.

Why was Philip of Macedonia able to easily conquer Greece?
Philip never conquered Greece. With various methods, he brought the Greeks together and united them under Macedonian hegemony through the formation of the Pan-Hellenic league of Corinth.
After the Peloponnesian Wars, the Greeks who had a history of disunity were even more disjointed. Athens had been defeated by Sparta, and Sparta was in turn defeated by Thebes which was the leading political power in Greece. Philip took advantage and built up his military and reinforced his alliances. Demosthenes of Athens who held a personal grudge with Philip after being snubbed at the Macedonian royal court spoke against the threat from Macedonia to Athenian hegemony.
[10] When, Athenians, will you take the necessary action? What are you waiting for? Until you are compelled, I presume. But what are we to think of what is happening now? For my own part I think that for a free people there can be no greater compulsion than shame for their position. Or tell me, are you content to run round and ask one another, "Is there any news today?" Could there be any news more startling than that a Macedonian is triumphing over Athenians and settling the destiny of Hellas?
Demosthenes. Demosthenes with an English translation by J. H. Vince, M.A. Cambridge, MA, Harvard University Press; London, William Heinemann Ltd. 1930.
Also, while the Athenian allies may have had an advantage in quality, Philip had a greater advantage in numbers. The Macedonian Army was larger and more modern. The phalanx infantry formation used by the Thebans to defeat Sparta was improved by the Macedonians with longer spears and ranks of sixteen instead of eight. After an enemy had been broken up by the Macedonian phalanx, the Macedonian heavy cavalry charged in for the kill.
On the battlefield of Chaeronea, Macedonia and its Greek allies met with the Athenians and their allies from the Greek city states....
As the eminent historian J. B. Bury writes:
When did the greek civilization begin and end?
Ancient Greek civilization had a long and illustrious history. Historical and archaeological records indicate that the civilization had its earliest beginnings in the Neolithic Age (6000 B.C.E. and later), although it wasn't until 500 B.C.E. that what we now know as "Classical Greece" took shape. It is customary to mark the end of Ancient Greece in the middle of the 2nd century (B.C.E), when Rome conquered the last remaining centers of resistance among the Greek societies.
No, there is no evidence that Joseph, the father of Jesus, had any relation to Greek religion. By all historical accounts, Joseph was a Jew, as was Mary, the mother of Jesus. (And even if you believe, as Christians do, that Joseph was more like a stepfather, since the actual father of Jesus was God Himself, there is still no evidence that the God of the Jews was also involved with Greek mythology.) That said, yes, there are stories in Greek mythology about miracle births, gods who have a son, dying and rising gods, etc. However, Jesus is not part of ancient Greek religious beliefs.
Is modern Greece smaller than ancient Greece?
First of all, modern Greece is a unified country under a single government. Ancient Greece ranged from democracies (Athens, Thebes) to oligarchies (Sparta) and monarchies (Thessaly, Epirus, Macedonia). Furthermore, ancient Greeks colonized lands that are now outside of Greek borders, such as southern Italy, France, Turkey, Cyprus and some parts of the Russian shores. The Greek language has also evolved, and people now speak Modern Greek. Spelling has remained the same as it was in ancient Greek, but pronounciation has changed.
