According to the website drugs.com (see the Related Link below) there is no known interaction between amoxicillin and low-strength aspirin (over-the-counter aspirin like Bayer). But their website also says, "However, this does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist. ALWAYS consult with your doctor or pharmacist." Whatever the hell that means, I don't know (I mean, seriously, which is it, then)? See the Related Link below.

What they seem to be saying is, "No, there's no interaction for most people, but if you should happen to have one and end up dead, you can't sue us for telling you there's not."

It is a mixture of the active ingredient in Tylenol combined with aspirin and some caffeine.

One answer doesn't fit all. I am allergic to aspirin and NSAIDS, but my doctor said that mobic might work for me since it is a COX 2 inhibitor. Don't know what that means, but it cures my (rare) headaches. I am not allergic to Tylenol either, but Tylenol doesn't help with headaches.

I used Trazadone for five years every night before bedtime. It worked like a charm and put me to sleep within 15 minutes. One night it just stopped working; increasing the dose didn't help. I wouldn't recommend shoving Trazadone up your nose because it's a huge pill and would take forever to chop up, even with a good mortar and pestal. By the time you had the lines all laid out, you'd probably be tired anyway and you'd just think it was from the Trazadone! Sorry to rain on your parade.

Endocet does contain acetominophen, however, so I wouldn't take any additional Tylenol or any pain reliever that contains acetaminophen, unless you have no liver problems and are monitoring how much Tylenol you are getting in a day. For an adult with no liver problems, the maximum is 4g. So if your endocet tablets contain 500mg each for example, and you are taking 8 a day, then don't take anymore Tylenol. If you are only taking 4 a day, then you could potentially take up to 4 Tylenol a day. Ibuprofen is fine to take with both.

It is safe to take a pain reliever and an antibiotic together. Remember to take all of your penicillin even after you feel better. You want to kill off all the bacteria and not leave any hiding out in your body! Take the paracetamol as directed on the package. Taking too much can cause liver damage.
