Can i take amox-clav with aspirin?

According to the website drugs.com (see the Related Link below) there is no known interaction between amoxicillin and low-strength aspirin (over-the-counter aspirin like Bayer). But their website also says, "However, this does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist. ALWAYS consult with your doctor or pharmacist." Whatever the hell that means, I don't know (I mean, seriously, which is it, then)? See the Related Link below.

What they seem to be saying is, "No, there's no interaction for most people, but if you should happen to have one and end up dead, you can't sue us for telling you there's not."

How many ibuprofen does it take to die?

On most cases it is usually around 200mg (standard OTC) per pound of body weight. Equalling 100 = 100 tablets, Possibly less but this is a safe bet. If with 600mg tablets the dose would be 1 per 3 pounds, meaning 150lbs = 50 pills, and if 800mg tablets, then would be 150lbs = 37.5 (so 38).

To overdose on ibuprofen is difficult, but possible, as for migraines the doctors will give you 45 a month, with refills usually.

The overdose to be lethal is usually at these levels, for a nonfatal overdose, just a handful on an empty stomach; Then will give you terrible sets of pain and vomiting for hours.

To die on ibuprofen accidentally is at the odds of being at Columbine, Virginia tech, or others while you are the main target, not very likely. But be careful and stay alive!

Though accidental overdose can be easily achieved with 80mg of oxycodone and a handful of barbiturates. (Oxycontin + Blue Birds)

Can you take meloxicam and aspirin together?

One answer doesn't fit all. I am allergic to aspirin and NSAIDS, but my doctor said that mobic might work for me since it is a COX 2 inhibitor. Don't know what that means, but it cures my (rare) headaches. I am not allergic to Tylenol either, but Tylenol doesn't help with headaches.

Can excessive aspirin and bleeding in the first 6 weeks cause a miscarriage?

Yes!!! Aspirin is a blood thinner and can cause a bleed out, taking the forming embryo with it. Aspirin has also been linked to birth defects and is contraindicated in pregnancy unless you're taking it for another medical condition and under a doctor's supervision. If you need on over-the-counter pain rememdy while pregnant, talk to you doctor, but usually Tylenol is OK as long as you keep it under 500mg every 4-6 hours.

Can you snort trazadone?

Trazadone is an antidepressant. Nasal application of medication is done frequently. It anything you will probably be less depressed but will probably have a stuffy nose.

Trazadone was originally developed for use as an anti-depressant. It soon became evident that it was a lousy anti-depressant but an excellent sleeping pill. It is extremely popular for use in Mental Health Units to put everyone nitey-nite at the same time (the patients, that is) so that the staff can finish their charts before the next shift arrives.

I used Trazadone for five years every night before bedtime. It worked like a charm and put me to sleep within 15 minutes. One night it just stopped working; increasing the dose didn't help. I wasn't feeling any happier, either. That's when my psychiatrist told me it wasn't supposed to make me happy, it was supposed to put me to sleep. It was the other eight drugs I was taking (prescribed) that were supposed to ensure happiness and eradicate my depression.

So I stopped taking Trazadone and switched to Ambien, and threw away the other eight bottles of happiness. I switched to an M.A.O.I. patch and I've never been so happy in my life!

I wouldn't recommend shoving Trazadone up your nose because it's a huge pill and would take forever to chop up, even with a good mortar and pestal. By the time you had the lines all laid out, you'd probably be tired anyway and you'd just think it was from the Trazadone! Sorry to rain on your parade.

Can you take cyclobenzaprine if you are allergic to Ibuprofen?

You should really ask your doctor, however both medications do different things. Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) is a muscle relaxant and ibuprophen is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) Both are prescribed together sometimes. If the Flexeril is not your prescription, it is highly recommended that you ask a doctor if this medication is okay for you to take. There are other reasons why you maybe should not take it.

Since the ibuprophen is an over the counter drug, it is up to you if you want to take it. Even though medications are OTC, this does not mean they are harmless. In fact, if you do not NSAIDs with food, they can cause serious damage..even blood loss through your intestinal tract. Even if you do take them with food, sometimes damage will occur. Pay attention to any abdominal pain and changes in the appearance of your stools.

Can you chew on an Advil liquid gel?

Technically, yes - it is physically possible to chew on an Advil LiquiGel. However, the medication inside is not intended to contact the tissues of your mouth, so it may be painful to do so. I would also suspect the taste to be absolutely wretched.

Can endocet and ibuprofen be taken together?

Yes. Endocet does contain acetominophen, however, so I wouldn't take any additional Tylenol or any pain reliever that contains acetaminophen, unless you have no liver problems and are monitoring how much Tylenol you are getting in a day. For an adult with no liver problems, the maximum is 4g. So if your endocet tablets contain 500mg each for example, and you are taking 8 a day, then don't take anymore Tylenol. If you are only taking 4 a day, then you could potentially take up to 4 Tylenol a day. Ibuprofen is fine to take with both.

Why should you not take blood thinners and avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen?

Aspirin and Ibuprofen belong to a group of drugs called NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Anti inflammatory Drugs). The all help block pain and inflammation by inhibiting COX, an enzyme responsible for prostaglandins etc. Stop COX and you reduce or stop and further inflammation.

Aspirin, Ibuprofen and the like are highly acidic and even on the own can cause indigestion and stomach problems. Together, the side effects just multiply.

Sometime low dose aspirin is used to prevent cardiac problems such as blood clots and to improve circulation. There is some evidence that concomittant NSAIDs with Aspirin will reduce the efficacy of the antiplatelet activity. Dr Chris

Can you take Ibuprofen with phenoxymethylpenicillin?

It is safe to take a pain reliever and an antibiotic together. Remember to take all of your penicillin even after you feel better. You want to kill off all the bacteria and not leave any hiding out in your body! Take the paracetamol as directed on the package. Taking too much can cause liver damage.
