Is there an upper limit for haldol dosing?
Adults
An initial dose of 50 mg every 4 weeks is recommended, increasing if necessary by 50 mg increments up to 200 mg every 4 weeks.
Subsequent monthly doses should be assessed on the individual patient's response. If, for clinical reasons, two-weekly administration is preferred these doses should be halved.
In patients with severe symptomatology, or in those who require large oral doses for maintenance, higher doses may be required

Do Risperdal and Adderall work together for a person diagnosed with schizophrenia?
Adderall has the potential to increase symptoms of delusions and psychosis, usually when abused. Risperdal acts as a direct antagonist of dopamine receptors which is the site of action for Adderal. It can be prescribed with an anti-psychotic to minimize any danger of side-effects. You and your doctor will decide if the risks outweigh the benefits. It is actually a very commonly prescribed combination of drugs(though I'm not sure for what illness), and is helpful if the person is suffering from negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Although there are some correlations between dopamine receptors and schizophrenia, it is not an absolute and each person may respond differently.
How long until you see a change in someone taking Seroquel?
It differs at each person and at each illness.
If someone is a middle of a very strong psychosis->no effect. Haldol (Haloperidol) or sth like, may it vanish.
If he is at the beginning of a psychosis, or just milder case.-> 1-2 day back to normality. But still "weird" and some symptoms.
It takes about 1 or 2 months that all symptoms releaved.
This is psychosis. On 500-800 mg. (I wouldn't recommend less for bipolar/schizophrenia/schizoaffective.)
If after 2 months, you see no change at these doses, then switch to another drug.
(Prop. Zyprexa. It makes someone fat, maybe diabetic.->Seroquel is way better.
In worst case -middle of psychosis or alike- Haldol.
I wouldn't recommend Abilify or Geodon. They are weak as hell. If Seroquel has minimal effects, they will not have at all.)
->Personal experience. (Taken these for schizoaffective.)
Anxiety, sleeping problems etc. I don't know totally.
About 1-2 days. (as I've seen some patients)
But it's not the best drug for these disorders at all.
Can abilify be also perscibed to a cancer patient?
I do not know whether there was a relationship but my husband developed spots in his pancreas about six months after taking Abilify. These spots developed into Pancreatic Cancer. He died two years after taking Abilify for only four months. He had all kinds of bad reactions to Abilify. He had a serious tremor in his hand, hit two cars, had two gran mal seizures, could not sleep, and was totally disoriented on Abilify. In my opinion it is the WORST anti-depressant on the market!! violetscoffee@msn.com

Your daughter took abilify and lexapro could it of caused permanent brain damage?
No. Those drugs take a while to start working.
Yes, you are going to jail for a long time. ----------- Considering that Seroquel's half-life is 6 hours, that the likelihood of Seroquel OD causing death is extremely low, and the fact that your blood stops circulating when you die, I imagine that the Seroquel would definitely show up on a blood test. So, your ideas of homicide/suicide would not work with a Seroquel OD.
Can Seroquel treat movement disorders such as Oromandibular Dystonia?
Seroquel can actually CAUSE this type of dystonia, as is the case with many antipsychotics.
