It is a lot easier to get to some other positions in ballet from fifth. For example a battement. {Pronounced bot-ma}

If you are a ballerina (girl dancer) you can dance en pinte when you are strong enough. If you are a male ballet dancer you do alot more jumps and you lift the ballerinas (female dancers) up. Hope I helped!

I'd say about 7 percent of the population does ballet. If even. Tricky question to answer, as many many little children do ballet, and unless a total figure was somehow worked out by contacting 'every' school, the ammount would change from time to time. So the rough estimate of 7% of the population is just really a wild guess.

We call the soft shoes well soft shoes and the harder ones you rise up onto pointe shoes (an abbreviation for pointes are toe shoes)hope this helps!

It depends on what you are good at. If you have exceptional balance, and are a light person, football will be harder. If you are a heavier, strong, person who does not have good balance, you will find ballet is harder.

i don't particularly know where Manila is, but most towns and cities will have a dancewear shop around somewhere, where you can go in and get some shoes or get fitted for them. If not, there are lots of websites that you can order off, i recommend www.dancedirect.com.

However, if you want to get pointe shoes i wouldn't recommend buying them online as a proper fitting is needed to make sure they are the right shape and flexibility for you. If your pointe shoes fit wrongly, not only will they be uncomfortable and unsafe, but they could misshape your feet and cause bad blisters or bunyons. This will not happen in normal slippers though.

It really depends what the audition is for. If you mean musical auditions it would include- dancing, singing and of course acting. It could go over a period of time. Other auditions for live shows would include- seeing if you are comfortable around the camera, personality, improvisation.......etc.
