Children often take to nude beaches more easily than adults because as children there are less complex feelings and social expectations when it comes to removing clothing. In other countries around the world family access to and use of nude swimming areas is commonplace. However there are some countries where the rules regarding bathing attire are STRICTLY enforced and even the sexes may be required to swim in separate areas. So the social practices, traditions, ordinances and rules regarding nudity at beaches vary widely and beach-goers should carefully determine which ones apply at the beach before venturing to them.

There are sharks, but far offshore and rarely seen by people. The chance of getting bit is one in a billion. You are more likely to see a dolphin than get attacked by or even see a shark.

A beach groyne works when you put a groyne on the water (usually made of timber, bamboo, or other materials), the only source for a groyne is so that the whole beach/island doesn't "wash away" and all of it's sand get washed off into the ocean.

The only insects in the ocean live in the coastal areas, salt marshes, and tidal pools. These include various fly larvae, midges, some beetles, and several species of true bugs. While these insects may spend some time in the ocean, not all parts of their life cycle necessarily occur in the ocean. Some beetles will live in shallow areas of the ocean as adults, but also come out of the water at times.

One interesting group of insects is the Halobites. They are water skimmers that live their entire life on top of the ocean and are found great distances from shore. They lay their eggs on floating sea debris.

The best guess as to why there are no insects that live underwater in the open ocean is that insects evolved on land whereas the crustaceans evolved underwater giving them a competitive advantage from millions of years head start in colonizing the ocean. Because the insects developed on land, they would have to redevelop the traits necessary to live in the ocean.

Usually a beach has a breeze blowing in from the ocean. This movement of air can cool your skin and make the temperature seem less. I would think that the air is still in the morning and as the sun heats up the air and land, this results in movement of the air.

It depends on your definition of beach. If your definition is a warm and sandy vacation spot than no but if your definition is a place where the ocean meets land than yes it does have beaches.

Sun screen and lots of it. Apply more often than what is recomended. We bought a canopy to use this year. A well stocked first aid kit for cuts, scrapes and maybe jelly fish stings. Maybe water shoes incase the shore line is rough. I think the most important thing is to learn about the dangers of the ocean, mainly rip tides. Learn how to spot them and how to get out of them. I got sucked into one several years ago and had to be saved by a life gaurd. After much studying on them I always scan the water now before I decide on a place to set up for beach fun with the kids.
