When can you start birth control after removing IUD?
An IUD can be inserted at any time during a woman's cycle if the clinician can be reasonably certain that the woman is not pregnant. It may be easier to insert during a period, but that isn't strictly necessary. It may be inserted at the time of a first trimester abortion, but there's a higher risk of expulsion if inserted after a later pregnancy ends, so it's typically 4-6 weeks until insertion after a delivery.
Limitations based on age or the number of children are no longer the standard of care. See ACOG guidelines for the latest information on choosing an appropriate IUD candidate.
What happens when a male takes birth control pills?
Hello.
If a boy takes birth control pills he will probably experience nasusea, dizzyness and pregnancy like symptoms due to the overload of female hormones in the pills. Next time don't touch birth control pills.
You are aware that you are a genius right ^^ i mean that literally because if it makes them experience pregnancy symptoms we women no longer have to suffer alone (^_^) that can be a trade advice maybe we should team up and market the product to pregnate females to make the men suffer as well LOL

What if you take birth control while you're pregnant?
I got the depo shot 1 week after unprotected sex then found out I was pregnant. I lost the baby because of an ectopic pregnancy. There is no proof but I think depo had something to do with it.
Is it normal for my period to last over 12 days while on the depo shot.?
I'm not sure. I was on the shot myself (having taken it just once) for three months. I got the shot in November, and never got a second one. I had a few days of very faint spotting, and FELT like I was going to get my period two months after my second shot would have been due. One month after, I got what seemed like a normal, if not light period. Had a week following that of no bleeding at all. Now one week later, I am experiencing very heavy bleeding. If anyone else has experienced this, and it is normal for Depo discontinuation, I would love to hear about it. If anyone has experienced this and sought medical care and it is something to worry about, that would be helpful also.

Could you be pregnant if you missed four pills of birth control on week 3?
It has been a while back, but I had three girlfriends who now have grown children and each girlfriend had a terrible habit of missing then ingesting more than one pill at a time ... Other than a spermacide, being outside of the body will kill sperm, but they will survive for more than a couple minutes. Sperm can survive up to 6 days inside the vagina or uterus being outside of testicles. they don't survive more than a couple minutes outside of the body. Many chemicals kill sperm, but for sex, a popular product that contains Nonoxyl-9. Its a suppository that can be put inside a womans vagina or a persons butt, and it kills sperm and prevents pregnancy . One kind is called Encare and you get it at the pharmacy. You don't need a prescription and they sell it where they stock the condoms and other birth control items. While the myth of a man becoming completely unfertile from a trip in the hot tub is inaccurate, a mans sperm does not hold well to prolonged hot temperatures. Decreased fertility and even slower "swimmers" can occur. Studies have found that there is a correlation between heat waves and low conception rates. Men most at risk are those who regularly work in hot environments such as construction workers, bakers, coal factories and the likes.
Still, this is no cause for men to get worried. The mans genitals is unique in that the anatomy is made in such a way that it is its own thermostats and can adjust to the usual three degree changes in temperature. There is muscles in the groin that will actually pull the testes closer to the body when it is cold and push it away from the body when warmed. The skin on a mans scrotum is meant to be so thin to make sure that your precious sperm do not get 'trapped into heat' and that's the reason it is not thicker or coated with fat.

Does a hermaphrodite produce eggs?
yes, hermaphrodites usually contain both sex organs. They can fertilize their own
eggs but this is not a satisfactory solution for the long term because this
creates offspring genetically identical to the parent. This will not do in
case the environment changes down the road and none of the members of the
population can survive the change. There must be some way of creating
variation.

You start spotting two weeks after you start birth control Is that normal?
Two weeks pregnant is when you conceive so how you know you are pregnant I am not sure. You should not be spotting mid-cycle. If you mean you conceived two weeks ago and have just had a positive pregnancy test it may be just a bit of breakthrough bleeding, or it may be the beginning of a period.
What types of condoms are there?
The are three types of condoms: Latex, Isoprene, and Urethane.
The "standard" condom is latex and .007 inches thick. Premium brand "super thin" condoms are .002 inches thick or close to it. These are much more enjoyable to use for regular sex than standard condoms. However they are not strong enough for anal sex. Use thicker condoms for that stuff.
You may see fancy names for condom material like "sheerlon" but these are just trade names for latex.
Isoprene is synthetic latex, although they are often promoted as "non-latex" condoms. These condoms were developed for people who are allergic to latex. Another advantage is that they don't have a latex smell. They are premium .002 inches thick condoms.
Urethane condoms were developed before isoprene condoms. They are .002 inches thick premium condoms, but urethane is not as stretchy as latex and will not give as snug a fit. Their advantage is that they are resistant to oil. This is useful if you have been using hand lotions or sunscreens. Urethane condoms are also odorless and hypo-allergenic, but they are getting hard to find as most manufacturers switched over to cheaper isoprene for hypo-allergenic condoms. However, if you want to give your partner an oil massage before sex, urethane condoms are a must.
Condoms come in different shapes and sizes and have things like ribs and studs to improve the pleasure. See the discussion page for a list of condoms names and their description.
What if you missed four birth control pills?
Because you missed 4 pills you are not protected against pregnancy. You must use a back up method of protection - a condom for the next 2 weeks to prevent pregnancy. You must also continue to take birth control as normal.

If you skip a pill or take them at different times each day that opens up additional percentage of pregnancy opportunity. Read the insert and consult your physician if this pill isn't working for you, there are so many choices available.
Can you take your first pill before your due on your period?
You can, although it wouldn't make much sense. It will basically stop your period from coming for that month. My suggestion (what my doctor told me) is to start taking the pill the Sunday after your period has stopped. You will then continue to have your period at the same time of the month as always, and you won't have to worry about the "missing" period. Cheers, Squares PS If your doctor hasn't told you, wait a month before having sex to ensure that the pill has enough time to deal with hormonal changes. It won't be much use before that point.
Can the birth control pill cause yeast infections?
Hi. No this will not cause a yeast infection. Yeast infections are very common and easily treated with over the counter Monistat or Canesten creams. Pessarys and creams are also available. You must not have sex while you have a yeast infection or you will pass it on to your partners. Men do not have symptoms of a yeast infection like women do and because of this the infection may go un-detected and he will pass it back to you again. Make sure you are completely clear of yeast infection before having intercourse. Please note this is advice only and should not be used in place of your Physcian. No. A yeast infection occurs when the natural good bacteria in a woman's vagina is unable to keep yeast in the vagina under control. This commonly happens after taking antibiotics, which kill both good and bad bacteria in the body.
Expired birth control has no effect on the bacteria or yeast content in the vagina.
