Bluetooth adapters or devices are products that give individuals greater freedom, by allowing handsfree and remote access to their electronic devices. First, an individual must be sure that the device they are using is "bluetooth friendly". Some devices do not allow bluetooth adapters. Typically, when a blue tooth adapter is enabled to "discover" mode, and the electronic device is on to the bluetooth setting, the bluetooth adapter will "find" the electronic device and self-install. If this does not work, then the person would need to follow the devices exact printed directions, which usually comes with the adapter.

Bluetooth devices, when in discoverable mode, are able to be seen ( discovered ) by other bluetooth devices. If two phones connect, the phone that is trying to establish the initial connection, must be looking for a phone that is "discoverable" otherwise it will not see it. Once the connection is saved, discoverable mode is no longer necessary, as the phones already know each other. This is only necessary during an initial link.

1) Switch on the Bluetooth of mobile phone.

2) Change the mode of car audio system to Bluetooth.

3) Click on an option for searching the devices.

4) Just select the Bluetooth of your phone.

5) As the pairing is done you can listen the phone music on your car audio system.

Bluetooth is a trademark. To use it a device must provide functionality corresponding to the bluetooth specification. As to why they picked that name, you would have to ask the people that developed the specification. Trademark names must be distinctive, this one sure is.

Usually (I'd say 99% of the time) Bluetooth headsets will use the headset profile, so if your phone supports that profile (which it almost certainly does), you'll be fine.
