In this particular vehicle you will not be able to check the oil through a deep stick. You have to go underneath the body of the vehicle to check it. It's better to have you oil changed by a BMW dealership.

Ok the guy that wrote what u see above this, you need to be careful what you tell people to do. If its a sealed tranny it must go to a service center, because that means its also pressurized. So if you could really mess things up.

Look for a belt driven accessory. It should have a cap with attached stick & red fluid inside if not labeled. Add to fill mark,

That depends, if your transmission is completely empty, you will need about 16qts. But if you are just doing say a filter change on it you will need about 8qts. To completely exchange all of the old fluid and put new fluid is very difficult to do without the use of a machine designed to pump new fluid in and old fluid out at the same time. Most people I see just swap the filter and top back off the fluid with new oil.

you need the key, which some mechanics have, but the dealer has it, and sometimes taking the battery out and putting it back in will reset it

On the speedometer there is button hold it until the menu appears on display.thwn just follow the steps,you can reset everything with that button.

Seems like you have fuel supply issue. Check Fuel pump relay , Fuse , Pump, and Filter. K.

It has two, left and right, near the exhaust manifolds (header)

In many cars disconnecting the battery from the car and then reconnecting it after a lengthy period of time 20+ minutes will in many cases reset the computer in the car.

However some things in the computer are hard coded so even removing the battery will not reset them.

Car service / dealers can usually reset most bits of the car as they have specialist software and computers that they can plug into the car.

This could be multiple things. If you haven't had a tune up recently I Would start there. New spark plugs would be my first step though.
