the 1995 BMW 318 i does not have a fuel cutoff it has a fuel relay. It is located on the right side of the hatch pull away cover, expose fuel relay to the left, then replace it.

This is entirely dependand on the key, the new keys that operate the car from entering into a slot with no blade has an internal battery that charges itself during operation, likewise with the diamond shaped, 3 button EWS keys. if either of these fails then a new key may be requried, also a simple initialisation process can be done at your local dealer to try and recode the radio waves with the car as this can sometimes be lost. this should take a matter of minutes and should not be charged (dependand on the car) other types of keys may have a small rectangular cover on the back which can be popped off revealing 2 screws, these batteries need to be changed within 30 seconds otherwise the key loses its pairing with the vehicle. illuminated keys come apart by sliding the light and batter out from the top, or may also be removed from the rear depending on the key. The car must be switched on, the brake pedal must be depressed and the toggle button between the backrest of the seats must be pushed. This only works after you lower your sunvisors and release the manual latches.

Please ensure there's no objects in the package tray behind the seats where the top folds to in the down position, those types of things in that area will damage your top.

each wheel has an air bag that is filled by a small compressor to keep your car level, for instance if you have a fat person in the passenger seat, or too much weight in the trunk. there is a switch in the trunk that should turn this back on.

It sounds as if the ECW chip inside you key is bad. this is the chip that talks to your car and tells the vehicle that the key is the proper key. The cut of the key is right so it will unlock the tumblers, and let you turn the ignition switch, but the car needs that signal from chip to tell it to start. you will need to replace the key at the dealership. about ($120-$190). The keys on websites wont work they may be cut right but only BMW has the key with the proper signal to start the car.

Remove the throttlebody to get access to the 2 torq, screws.

Dependent on which year the car is produced, but on the newer diesel car's from BMW the service interval is approximately 30 000 km, but it can change depending on your style of driving the car.
