Jack vehicle up,( place on jack stands, wheels choked/P brake on-depending on axle))have to remove wheels, compress calipers, remove calipers and pads, insert new pads, replace brake pads sensor, reinstall, new pads, calipers, wheels, sensor and reset service interval, by turning key to accessories and waiting for brake service light to reset

On my 54 reg, its the middle of the steering wheel.

This is not really a job for beginers especially without pictured instrutions. But here is a general basis of what needs to be done. First remove the throttle bodies from the intake manifolds(a 750 is a 12 cylender, 2 manifolds, 2 throttles) then you will need to remove the intake manifolds, for that you will need to remove the metal heat shield covers on the inner portions of the manifold exposing the 11mm nuts holding the intake to the cylender heads...you will need a magnetic 11mm socket so as not to loose these special sized nuts. After removing those bolts you will need to make sure all other retaining screws and vacuum lines have been taken off the intake, the fuel line must be discconected also. Then remove the manifolds exposing the wiring harnness for the injectors, remove this wiring harness and hold it out of the way with a bungee cord of sorts. then you can access the 10mm nuts holding both of the head cover gaskets on....as you can see it is pretty involved. Good luck to you and plan on about 12 hours worth of work time to do this repair.

if xenon one,then take it to the dealer. if ordinary halo lamp,then just turn the lamp and pull it out and then unplug it and put new one inside. then put all back.

It is not in the trunk like the hardtops. I don't know where it is?

i believe if its anything like my 2002 BMW 325ci that it would be in the trunk on the right. remove the black thing on the right (there should be 2 little plastic bolt looking things holding it down).

I have a 2001 X5 that is giving the same Code 164, I think it has something to to with the transmission.

The simplest answer is find a shop like halfords and purchase a service light resetting switch around £ 25.00. There is a a black round cap that you unscrew in the engine bay left side. You know when you have it as the pins when you remove the cap match the switch.

Just follow the instructions with the switch.

$1,000.00 @ BMW .... Labour alone is 700.00 ... But it's guaranteed for 2 yrs parts and labour.

The fuel pump for the 89 BMW 325ic is from VDO ( an OEM supplier ) pt# 16-14-1-184-022-M82.

There are 7 seats in a BMW X-5. There are the driver and passenger seat, the 3 middle seats, and two seats in the trunk. The two seats in the trunk are small and non-spacious, so they may not be considered seats for large people.

Depends on what is wrong with it. Typically if damage is severe, you buy replacement trim panels and replace the damaged ones.

I had this problem with my car (the day after I bought it). There is a special fuse that they need to install in the fuse box that won't blow. The dealer should do it for you for free if you take it to them. In the meantime, you can change the fuse with the same amperage one that is there and they should work for a short time until they blow again. It gets to be a pain.

If you change the fuse for a higher amperage fuse, the motor in the door lock will blow on one side.

i believe that means that the steering wheel locks up in park for safety, until you put in the key and jiggle the wheel to unlock.

The snap ring broke off the D-G clutch drum inside the automatic transmission which operates reverse gear. The pistons in the clutch pack can not grab on to the drum to engage into gear. Transmission will need to be rebuilt with a new thicker D-G drum. Cost 3k to 4k.

You can unlock the doors manually if you turn the key far enough. You can then open the hood and provide power to the vehicle with jumper cables and a donor car. If all else fails you can jack the vehicle up, support it on a jack-stand, and attach a red jumper cable to the starter positive red cable where it connects to the starter and then attach black cable to any metal place on the engine. You can use this procedure to charge the battery with either a battery charger for jumper cables from a donor vehicle.

I'm not sure on this, but I'de have to say BMW because they have all the luxuary and sports cars, but I still like Volkswagon.
