Name the fish that cannot swim?
Non-aquatic animals are the animals that cannot swim. But more specifically, most felines (apart from tigers) and even some birds like chickens cannot swim. Also most mammals are not very fond of water. Most reptiles swim but there are a few exceptions in snakes and tortoises. Chickens can swim! (I bet on it) Tortoises (not all of them) do not, they are too heavy and too slow to swim but i know for sure that they simply hold their breath and walk on the bottom of body of water. Mine was doing it by himself and seemed to enjoy it :) I think that most animals can swim, not all of them are good at it, or enjoy it. Cats also can swim! (they might not like it, but they swim) For some of them it comes naturally, some have to actually learn it from their parents or care takers (even big cats like lions).

The puzzle posits that you have a wolf, a goat, and cabbage to get across the river, but only one of them at a time. If you leave the wolf with the goat, it will eat the goat. If you leave the goat with the cabbage, it will eat the cabbage.
As with all puzzles of the type, it involves crossing multiple times with the central object (the goat) so that it is always alone. The first crossing takes the goat across, and returns. On the second crossing, either the wolf or the cabbage goes across, but the goat is brought back to the original side of the river. Then the other item (cabbage or wolf) goes safely across and finally a 4th trip to bring the goat for good.
This puzzle was part of the Poptropica quest of Nabooti island, where it used a fox, a chicken, and some feed. The solution was identical to the above, where once the crossing begins, the chicken is always either in the boat or by itself.

How can you make a fire with only one stick?
Twist a fine piece of steel wool into a 'string.' Touch each side to opposite ends of a battery, and it will spark and ignite.
Flint and steel
You can also use a magnifying glass to focus the heat of the sun or you could just use a lighter. You can also use a bow to spin a stick of wood rapidly to produce heat, the same effect can be obtained by rubbing a stick rapidly against another piece of wood.
There are hundreds of ways to start a fire without matches. Swedish Firesteel or BlastMatch are very popular. However, the most reliable way to do it without tools or supplies is by using a bow drill (using the hand drill described above gets you blisters more often than an ember for a fire). You don't need a knife to make one and can use your shoelace for the bow string. It usually takes 30 mins to an hour the first time you use one. But, it can save your life if you get lost.
Why do we laugh when people get hurt?

Can you draw a x in a square without picking up your pen or overlapping lines?
You need to think outside the box on this one, but it is possible. Fold your paper up from the bottom. Place your pen on the lower layer of paper above where your paper is folded (enough space to draw your square without touching the upper layer of the fold).
Start from the top left of the square, moving across to the top right, then to the bottom right. At this stage, keep going on to the upper layer of the fold and continue in a semi-circle until you reach the bottom left of your square.
Continue to the top left so that you have your full square. Then draw diagonally to the bottom right, unfold your paper and draw from there straight across to your bottom left.
Finally, draw diagonally from the bottom left to the top right.

If you are at third place in a race and pass the second person - what place are you at?
If you passed him after you crossed the finish line, he finished 2nd so you're in the 3rd place now. Or you may have passed him while you were running the other way, you were not in the race at all, then hopefully you would be in the place you were running to.
The simplest answer is that when you passed the person in second place, you would now be in second place yourself.
